Thanks, SpiderX.

It looks as a little improvement on ticket volume but it´s still retail traders volume "from FXCM’s clients around the world". Nothing really new and significant, I fear.

I have failed painfully in practical use of volume. I read Anna Coulling´s "A Complete Guide To Volume Price Analysis" some weeks ago and have been trying to apply it to my trading with bad results. I typically blamed my broker, and re-read some posts from this thread searching some wisdom but I´m not even near of those who (quoting CJ) almost touched it. I firmly believe that volume is the main key for trading and it makes me very unhappy my lack of talent to understand it.

She did day it took her over 6 months of chart reading with volume to become successful

Yes. She also says that volume reading is an art, not a science or system. I´ll keep trying it, but it´s a hard task.

Coulling says that FX ticket volume is an indicator of 'activity' and that it can be used sucessfully as the real volume is used in stocks. After comparing different brokers, I have my doubts. Too much differences. Cowboy IBFX and FXCM seem to be the brokers more reliable for volume after some VSA dedicated threads. Who knows...

Only thing, I´d dare to say is that any clycle based theory (Elliot, Wyckoff, CJ) needs volume confirmation to validate the phases.

Isn't this very like to Eliot Wave?, you have 3 pushes and 3 cycles, or do you think Eliot has it's flaws to?

Hi gang, new member here, I`ve just finished reading the pdf and WOW, the material has definitely changed the way I perceive the fx market. After one year studying and having crap results I feel for the first time I`m moving in the right direction. Thank you very much CJ for the info here presented, and most important thank you for opening my eyes

Hope to learn more from the experienced traders around here

As for the FX market being rigged, looks like it isn't limited to FX. With the current news reports of the private "dark pools" involving equities:

Ever since the PFGBest bankruptcy, where I lost close to a six figure sum, I've tried to keep my trading funds safe, but in the US, that's hard to do. I've grown tired of trading small sized accounts into larger ones and drawing money from them. The manipulation and the risk of having large sums of money in an account that can disappear in a day have soured me on trading forex.
