How many levels and what pip spacing were you working with? If you're able to post trade history, I'd love to see times things were placed so I can deconstruct and see what you saw!!

Having a winning week, so not complaining, but want to improve my game (goal of being full time trader someday!)

I've been asking the same question for months
OKay, for the doubters attached the trades from last week.
Made almost 600 pips today already with JPY... ;)

What rational did you use to keep adding to your positions? I did similar trades the last two times the 100 got rejected and ended up getting burnt :(. Was asleep when all the action happened last night. I had a small open long USD/JPY but the TP was only 99.2!

Fundamentals provided by Bob and the fact I was watching the show live.
Added every line with H1-ATR value distance.

Intend to keep doing that for a while.

its true that every time everyone gets despondent on the Abe-Kuroda story(i did for the third time) it breaks out like mad.

100 was a level everyone in the world(check out twitter) was watching. and when it went. the amount of buy stops above it just took it 30 then 50 pips above with no way back.

i was(still am) sick with a viral cold but something told me to keep going on last night. and then i saw 100.

trading is the combined whole of all the masses.

the most painful part was before all this happened there was really no direction.

the 4H bollinger(20) squeeze on USDJPY was insane. it was so tiny and unreal but still no direction.
RSI2 was flattened. and there was this real smaller than usual pin bar sitting there. 50% of its tail got tested but gently rose up but nothing after that.

it was like shit. then after the UK data and US jobs data still nothing much. i cursed and swore violently at the market(influence of my flu) but after US opened things catalysed on the USDJPY.

if you missed it. i can only say this is the shit wringer trading puts us through. this is the business we are in. its full of shit. and i guess each day we survive it...is good enough.
this is not a beautiful job. but the faster we grasp the nature of our business the faster we cope with the shit it throws at us. the clearer we will think when we are in it.

i did make thanks to 10.4. the 4H does give the sense of whats coming up.
but its the emotional part, it just wrings you.
weakness?

what is H1-ATR value distance?

earlier entry + (ATR(14) of H1) = price of new entry in USDJPY?

Gertje,
very good results, congratulation.
I just want to ask, what pending script are you using for the steps and Do you still enter on H1 to use the DP lines ?
Have a nice weekend!
cheers

I use ATR[120] and indeed add that to the earlier entry's.
A few pages back a gridmaker-indi was posted that shows the levels, I added that to the H1 chart and put pendings on the lines.

The script I use is called 'elbow-grease' AKA 'manual labour'....
[I did it on a iPAD yesterday..]

I only enter on the H1-lines, except for the JPY-pairs now.
The 500 pips I made on the NON-JPY pairs yesterday were done using the H1 lines and TP at DR/DS1.
Look at the H4 for a signal [RSI flat, WP cross into trend] and switch to H1 to enter on the H1-lines.

Most of the time there are 2-3 entry's on the H1 that are all [including TP] within 1 set of lines on the H4. Less distance, same number of pips in the bank.

Thanks a lot!
This is a smart idea for entry handling to improve the already perfect System of our teacher Bob. :)
Somedays it could be semiautomated (coders welcome??)
