Actually, the easiest method is using version 2.2, as I explained in this thread months ago and updated the version. You can use it wherever you want, Sugar, Cotton, Oil, whatever.

Gary updated the simplified version as well, so it should work as you want, on any exotic thing.

Thanks for that, I missed that version (page) when scanning through the thread, as I only came across this quite recently.

Better if new versions are posted as Stickies at the beginning of the thread

Apparently there was later a minor bug fix to version 2.2

ie

//almostUniqueIndex=StringSubstrOld(now,StringLen(now)-3)+IntegerToString(WindowsTotal())
+IntegerToString(WindowOnDropped()); //Original code

almostUniqueIndex=StringSubstrOld(now,StringLen(now)-3)+IntegerToString(WindowsTotal())
+IntegerToString(ChartWindowFind()); //Gary's alteration

Its also very important that you pay attention to s/r levels on daily.Its hard enough to try to stay out of tops and bottoms so the times that it IS possible to see a strong enough s/r level coming up then it can help you from trading into it and then being dismayed when price drops through and stops out all your trades.
I also usually never take a trade that doesnt have a strength level on daily and 4H of +/-1. @ is the number usually used but I have found 2 is too late a lot of times to get into the trade early enough.

Here is a perfect example of going up a level and seeing s/r that can keep you out of the wrong side of the trade. This is what cable looked like last week. You can see that SS is screaming that you should take a trade and momentum is high but with that s/r I stayed away and of course price bounced and any trade would have been stopped out.
