Wavegarrick's HGI Trading

Hi @all.

Fantastic, Matthias.

But we can achieve this much easier. USD has a built-in HGI (using the HGI library). We need to simply change the settings to what we want here. The signals are also the same.

This will be much faster and have a smaller CPU footprint than calling the MTF TD indicator each time.

I leave it up to you to decide which one to take. A logical step would be to take a smaller CPU footprint. The choice is yours. I checked Thomas's setting with mine and it matches.

My next misuse of UBD to cut down the charts count will be Isabek's NNF-Desky setup... at least in a good way.

hey Charartist / Leon

please can i suggest running this script (do so from a fresh chart - i.e. no EA /indi running on it - and make sure you have 'show all' pairs in your Empty4 navigator) - it goes in your scripts folder and means you don't have to load the histories manually, takes about ~20 min or so.

Hi @all.

I have set up Leon's strategy on my terminals using the latest stuff and am sharing it with you here. There are two templates attached. Each one has to be loaded on an empty XAUUSD chart. The first one holds TDesk, the second one Desky and the two Universal Drones.

Notes:
* You must have "Stochastic color mtf fast" from Leon's thread in place
* You must have the latest versions of TDesk and Desky compiled in place.
* You must have the latest HGI library from the HGI thread in place
* You must have USD and UBD compiled in place
* Your "Default" template may not contain any indicators sending TDesk signals

Desky will send results to the database as "DESK-LEON". Please keep up with that in your own implementations.

I would love to see these Tests over a prolonged period from all users and the database will give the final conclusion

My hope is and always has been that we can have an Ea with low risk and optimal rewards and not the other way around.

Let's go for it Guys, I sincerely hope going into year end that we can and will see nice moves.

Hi Guys,

Just over 2 weeks. I am quite happy where I am going with this. The plus signs for me here is that losers are expelled in ranging periods. Whilst it seems that the account does not grow excessively it is ok for me because I am confident that the profits will come in fast when we see trendy conditions. The take away from this is that I carry no draw down. Touch wood :youknow:

I do not want to muck things up by changing too much and therefore I have not uploaded to the database yet. Must say that I am getting quite close to where I want to be and will let it run its course from here.
This is typically what you will see with a basket, as you see from the screenshot with 6 open trades and the max I have seen with 13 to 15 open trades:

As far as Steve's desky drone is concerned:
I mentioned in one of my previous posts that I would like to try a basket of 150 pips and so far looking positive. I also set a grid of 4 trades with use take profit at the next level. My pending orders are closed immediately when I get an exit signal and I am happy with this

Brilliant thanks for the update Leon. My global prime demo is chugging along nicely, I like the ethos of this system. Low drawdown, steady profits and hopefully when we see some strong trends it will really go into high gear. But no sleep lost either way.
