That is a mea culpa. Sorry.

I create all my EA's from shells that save me a lot of typing and ensure that the code is robust - it worked for 5 years previously so it works now, kind of thing. It also allows me to be confidently rude to people who question it - something I always enjoy.

The problem with doing this is that some redundant code gets left behind if I forget to delete/hide it. This is why you have come across BrokerAllowsHedging - it should be hidden from your view because there is no hedging allowed by HGB. This input will be hidden in future releases.

So, to confirm: this input should have been hidden from your view; it has no effect on HGB; HGB has no hedging features.

I should say that you are the first person in umpteen thousand to have tried this bot to have both noticed and brought it up.

I get invalid trade volume error and is seems to be isolated to eur/usd?
Otherwise the pips are piling up in our favor.

Hi,

My computer has slowed to a crawl since installing HGB. It was fine to start with with rapid opening of charts etc but now its almost at a standstill taking up to two minutes to flick between charts.
Its a new computer with 4gb of ram and a 2.4 ghz processor. Anyone else experiencing this problem and how do i overcome it. Just looked at my task manager and my platform is taking 72% of my CPU capacity.

try to set HgiReadDelaySeconds to 300 or 600 and use less pairs... at exp only the majors..

Andy, in Task Manager, you can click the headers to rank the processes. When you do that, you can see which are the CPU hogs. For me, it was a malfunctioning OneDriveSynch, and Microsoft has a free download to fix that, which worked for me.

For the past days I've been trying to figure something out. I've noticed while I was testing HGB and now with HGB-Piproid on my Empty4 platform that (almost) exactly the same pending orders were sent out for a signal generated by HGI.

I've been reading through the user guide to figure out how to avoid this and I managed doing that by setting PostTradeAttemptWaitSeconds to 14400 for trading on 4H charts and to 3600 for trading on 1H charts. It did not open multiple pending orders for the same signal anymore, but I've got a feeling that this isn't the way how it's supposed to be done and that I'm messing with a setting which I shouldn't.

Is there a correct way solve this? I know I am missing something but I can't figure it out. :arrrg:

Hi,
I´ve noticed that the new version of HGB/pip that the pending orders seem to be along way off the current price. For example NZ/jpy the order was placed at 00.10 at 90.93 but the pending order was a buy at 92.40 .
Seems to be a long way off can the setting be adjusted?
