I consider that there are many alternative ways to Trade with this Indicator. I myself am looking for three things 1) Trend continuation - steady pips to be made 2) Trend Reversal - get in near, not at,the beginning 3) Consolidation - something to live through I'm using the entry signals as one would use with Swing Lows and Swing Highs. All on H4, with currently no reference to D1 W1 etc ie on H4 Lower Highs = Sell, Higher Lows = Buy. Stops are well defined on one or more bars back low or high. TP at the reverse signal. Trades usually last less than a day up to about 3 days, Fiber stops 20 to 60pips One has to find the methodology that fits ones personality, so up to all to find their best fit |

When we post updates on p1 post one can we also date when the he upgrade is posted. That way we know which version is the most updated version. |

@dap711 note that, you have to publish your source code as well, if you want to publish here an indicator, based on open source code fund in this forum. This is one of our base rules. I have removed your ex4 file and the posts, than you should in future open a separate new thread, if you want to share an indicator or EA. Hello. this is my first visit to this thread, apologies if I am missing something. My understanding is that latest css includess super slope function but I could not get arrows that I saw in super slope2.0, and then if I use CSS, i could not get BUYSIGNALLINE/SELLSIGNALLINE. Also, I could not find any description how buysignalline and sellsignalline is triggered. Can someone direct me to find description for these signals and the reason why these signal can't be found in latest combined CSS(combined version 3.8)? Thanks. fxbell |

Hi guys, Long time lurker, first time poster - big ups to everyone who has put so much effort into this and everywhere else on the forum. Just a couple of questions - I've read through the whole thread and am pretty sure these have not been answered. I am looking at a H1 chart with Super CSS set to H4 as per Bob's recommendation. Entry - Post 1 states 'enter on candle close' but I'm not sure if that was written before the arrows were added later in the development process. I suspect that I need to wait for the candle with the arrow to close but on this set up am I waiting for the close of the H1 (my chart TF) or H4 (my CSS TF)? Looking at history the moves seem to come in the hour after the arrow, and the move is often mostly done by 4h later so I would miss it if I waited for the 4h to close. SL - I see 2 x ATR(20) being recommended as SL but again is this on chart TF or CSS TF? I am testing myself now, but would be interested to hear from anyone who has been trading this method live (profitably!) for a few months. Many thanks, John |

A very simple answer John. You set to Css on whatever time frame you like, the entry will only come at the next Bar as per your broker when you trade superslope, so four hour will be at the next bar four hours late or I hr will be 1hr later,,,,, so if you are trading small timeframes against the higher timeframe super slope, always wait for the next bar on the higher timeframe before you look for your entry on the smaller timeframe. All in all grasp this concept and you will go ahead in forex. Hope I make sense. Cheers Leon |
