Hi Guys,

For those of you fortunate enough to have been around in the days of Nanningbob, might have noticed that I am heading towards Bob's 10.7 version. His systems are totally ingrained in me. This is who I am. :good: http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 549#p89643

My STF indicator is Bob's STo7 indicator, just that I had to modify it with my "Stochastic color mtf" to match up with the UBD settings. In 2014 we did not have HGI signals and we had to rely solely on STO7 indicators. Even though my manual trading results improved dramatically a few years ago I believe we have an added advantage with HGI and combining it with Bob's 10.7 version. This system is a true refection of Bob's work and no alien stuff here.

In my previous posts I have shown you STF on the smaller time frames. Whilst my results are ok I feel that I am not getting the proper risk reward especially with a 150 pip basket. In the past week I cut STF on the smaller time frames and started with the daily and weekly time frame combined with HGI and my results have been sterling so far. Who know I might even include the monthly time frame in time to come.

What would happen if we made a weekly or daily indicator that would move faster than a 4H, daily or lower TF indi did? In other words the high TF indicator would move first showing us trend direction for that day or week and then trade into that direction. The weekly line is red and the STO7 is blue. The red line is very quick to change the STO7 is not but waits for the market to turn into the trend. This is what I saw.
So In lieu of all this I once again have to give you changes and I am so sorry for this. This is a work in progress.

Very cool Leon, very helpful to me to observe how you are tracking with your trading. I am running a parrallel course to you with focus on day TF, hope to share some stuff soon but when you break it all down I keep going back to a a very NB 10.7 approach too. I have been comparing fast and slow Sto's to RSIOMA fast and slows set against my standard Ehlers Fisher Transformation (and HGI) and recently looking at divergences to help with some of the difficult reversals we have been experiencing. All the best with the trading.....If only all my bright ideas stopped me from making dumb trades.....but good trades get more frequent and that is the ball game.

Hi Guys,

Something small. I realized that with my indicator STF (stochastic color mtf fast) the signal line follows the main line with one step only and you could lose out on potentially good moves (trades).

Simple step:
- Right click on the indicator "stochastic color mtf fast"
- Click on " modify " to open up Meta Editor.
- In meta editor change " Ma Method " from "o" to "2"
- Click on "Compile"

You are done.
