if you read my explanation post, you will know that's Marylin is a "trend catcher", and it's very difficult to avoid false signals, or as yesterday, big retracement.

Look in journal tab, and post the closed message to check your parameters.

Brain Storming request !

I never success to filter bad trade and good trade : they always look like to me similar at the beginning !
The only way to manage them it's to close them after a while.

For all of us who have trades since 2 weeks : please analyse each bad trade/good trade ! If you can see or add something to distinguish them.... please let me know !

Since I have shared this EA, I have not received any improvement...but a lot of claim

no doubt that our Marylin is a good EA which catches Huge PIPS with trend - but if we c the 3 EU orders closed at very less profit - even though we have a chance to collect huge pips. so we should not only think of big trend but also bank the huge pips which Marylin is catching.

Marylin looks pretty good to me so far (still early in testing of course). It is painful watching some of the big gains reverse but, as you have said, your impressive testing has shown that if we want those big trends then we just have to stick with it.

If I have any brainwaves for improvements I will post them!

Having losing trades is a part of the game. I'm ready to take them. For me, the current Marilyn looks "too good to be true" even as it is. I'm pretty happy if it behaves just as intended and is able to reproduce the backtest results to the extent possible.

I'm really grateful to you for allowing us to test such a good EA so generously! I hope I would be able to contribute to the development in some way.
