Guys, did anyone tried FB on the 5 min charts? I am running a DEMO on this, but very early stages and results are very, very good. Only use the 9 x best performing pairs. Had already 4 x GEC's in 2 days already. Very early to make any judgments, so I will keep this running for now and report back time to time. Pairs I use: USDCHF, GBPUSD, EURUSD, USDJPY, NZDUSD, EURAUD, AUDJPY, GBPAUD, GBPNZD Max Trades 5 Min/Max distance 10/10 GEC: $12 on 0.01 lot sizes. TP: 50 SL: 2000 BE: true BE target: 20 BE profit: 10 Because of the lower TF I use these settings due to higher volatility. I also just had a GEC on my 1H and 30 min combo account. The two TF compensates each other very well. I am also running tests on Gertje's settings with CSS filter on. Doing very well also, so maybe that is a good choice to use. All these are still fairly new and had no time to experience the market properly, so I will wait until next week to show the results again. We had a long week of DD, but that is OK and have to get used to it. Nothing really gone wrong and most accounts are closing out now with the set profits. This is basket trading at the highest level. V 1g is in post 1. I have added Stochastic as an optional filter - use described in post 1 but pretty obvious. I am not using on my H1 live platform yet. I am going to demo it on the M15 to see if it helps avoid trading during periods such as the GJ tank last week.  |

Maybe using past through 10 or 20 pips from last fractals to close wrong trade are better than using MA cross? Any thought?  |

I must say FB coped very well this week. 3 days of purposeful retracement on some pairs and trading 0.05 on £3k accounts only saw DD of 15.14% -15m. 13.33% - 30m. 1h got slaughtered at around 35% DD. Most EA's would have been broke trying to trend trade after the moves earlier this week. My pairs are majors and crosses but only usdjpy of the yen pairs. Impressive work Steve  |

After all the drama this week with the platform, FB shed has about 25% but managed tonight to have a global closure. Profit since the demo started (which is about 6 weeks) is still above 17%, so obviously not as good as it was but still not too shabby given the circumstances. I did end up doing a brand new install & the platform seems to be more stable now. |

A 9 trade basket closed on the H1 just moments ago, making my weekly gains +/+ 7.7 pips... Not bad for such a terrible week. Total since starting 1-10: +/+ 612 pips. |

Remarkable results those are Gertje. Outstanding What account balance do you run per 0.01 lot? I guess it's important in terms of when you get a GEC. I've noticed on mine 0.05 lot for a £3k account might be a tad high so suppose 0.01 per £1k might be better. thanks |

I use 0.01/ $1.000 indeed, with a $20,- GEC per 0.01 lot [=2% from starting balance]. After I change lotsizes in half a year or so, I'll change the GEC-value. |

Just had the 6th. GEC on the 5 min setup in 2 days. As per below. MAX DD: 1.77% Not bad. Thanks Steve for the excellent EA and for the hassle to create it. To help control DD, it might be better to select a small basket of uncorrelated pairs and then adjust lot size and number of trades. Going to work on that and see how it goes. |
