NB10.2a is not about timeframes. It trades crosses of the daily pivot, timeframe is not of any significance.

My bad! I had set up MultiBob on 2 systems thaI I had configured as redundancy for each other and traded the same accounts. Apparently I had loaded the CTS set file on one and absent-mindedly left the other one on default settings. Okay, its sorted now. Thanks.

Inspired by the effort to speciffy conditions for CTS in another thread here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 094#p26094, I will attempt to set out rules for coding an emerging bias and retracements, and get it accross to you asap.

Thanks again for the great work. You code like it is art. That is impressive.

Yep. The D1 lines form the trading range on the H4 TF just as the H4 lines do for the H1 TF.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the update. Regarding the CTS variables, I think we can make a distinction on the 2 different type of DT-RRs. One is when DP > MP, DP > WP and MP > WP which should be what CC described as DT-RR/UT (emerging UT) vs DP > WP, DP < MP and MP > WP which is the normal DT-RR which the DP is ascending. Likewise for UT-RRs. There should be a UT-RR/DT vs the normal UT-RR.

Hi Paul,

i have a question. Today i started the latest version of MultiBob to trade 10.2a. My understanding is that it should take a trade if the price is crossing the daily pivot.
Immediately after starting MultiBob it took some trades. For example it took at 08:23 GMT+1 a sell on GBPNZD.

As you can see the daily pivot is far away. The last time price went shortly above the DP just to go below it within minutes was at 03:00 GMT+1.

Shouldn't MultiBob wait for a cross? Or have i overlooked a parameter or i made a mistake within the settings?

PS: As i looked at my charts again. I think i made a mistake! I placed MultiBob onto a chart with activated (EA Button). So MB took the trades with the OOTB settings. Then i changed the settings for trading only 10.2a. Could this be an explanation? (sure it is)

PPS: Okay last edit :-) What does the parameter 'pivotcrossTF' mean. Does it mean when the last candle on the given TF closes on the other side of the pivot as it started? Do we wait for the close of the candle?

I like it VERY much!!! Thanks. Its brilliant! :D
I currently have it up on a blank screen togeter with my mod of your SlopeValues indy (hope you approve of my minimal meddling :) ) as shown in the shot below. In seconds I can see:
- the bias (I tend to focus a lot on ""-RRs which move the furtherest)
- the momentum (I'm getting direction from your indy as MultiBob isn't currently showing it)
- the distance from a HPTP

It is saving me a WHOLE lot of time now from having to look at many charts to just the ones close to a HPTP with the eligible momentum. BRILLIANT!!! :D

Yes, the arrows in the indy. They show weakness/strength, I believe.

- I can see a few arrows in the MultiBob display. What do they indicate as they sometimes vary from the ones in SlopeValues?
- Also, under CTSHPTP I see the narration "Long H4" or "Short H4". Is that the CTS-triggered entry? If so, can the entry level show next to it for verification?
- Finally, what do the CTSWrig figures stand for? SL pips from entry? Please clarify.

I think we have some confusion. To be clear, this is what MultiBob v1.2.13 shows:
  • CTSBias: DT, UT, DT-RR, UT-RR, DT-R and UT-R (DT-RR/UT and UT-RR/DT will be added in v1.2.14)
  • CTSMom: H1 Slope and colored arrow for weakening or strengthening
  • CTSHPTP: Closest FastTMA line and distance in pips. Changes in signal when reached
  • CTSWrig: Wriggle space to FastTMA + 10 pips when signal is shown in CTSHPTP
My question was about the SlopeValues on your screen. What direction do you mean?

Have you checked the other thread, I put something in there.
