Yeah, it helps, but modern computers don't rely much on Ghz but on multi-cores, and Empty4 sucks at that as it only uses one processor.

I am also using a ton of charts and Empty4 also chugs along when changing charts or even timeframe (but somehow brokers's feed also influence that, as I have several Empty4 open in several demo accounts and it behaves better in some). Sometimes it just sit there, thinking, and checking the Task Manager it says that it's using only 12-13% of CPU power (I have a 4-core machine and use hyper-thread, so it's like 8 cores). It sucks seeing Empty4 chugging along and only using a fraction of the CPU power available.

Try running CSS Template on a 2nd copy of Empty4 - you can just copy the whole directory. The 2nd version of terminal will use a different CPU core and help with total CPU.

I've downloaded and unzipped the update and installed all of the indis. eas etc. perfect. Is there supposed to be an update pdf in the zip file? Your post on p1 refers to important information in the update. Maybe I'm missing something.
