Hi Renexxxx
Could you immagine a version, where only the pair of the actual chart is shown like "show only pair on this chart=true" so that you can change currencies without changing the settings of the indicator?

If you set IncludeSymbols = NULL, you would get what you want.

Hi! I have been lurking intermittently in this forums for a while.

As I deemed that maybe somebody will find it useful (maybe not...), I am posting here a version of the HGIMatrix that can send alerts through the network (in the form of strings, through a raw TCP connection). It's not very well done (doesn't check anything, and opens and closes connections for every message -could have been done with UDP for that matter) but it should work well in a LAN.

I haven't been very successful with HGI, but I reckon it's a valuable indicator and there's a lot of work behind it (a pity that MT is so frustrating to deal with).

Just a question for the application of this: HGIMatrix currently can send emails, push notifications and alerts. Alerts can also be routed to a file that can be monitored with an external application. Why would one need to get a notification to a socket on another host/port? Obviously, there must be also a listener on that socket in order to do something with that notification.

Also, have you had a look at ZeroMQ. Would like to get your views on how this relates to your work.

You're right. It's meant to have something listening in the chosen port... long ago I started developing a server that does communicate like that (unencrypted raw sockets) with the clients. The clients reported ticks, accepted orders, et cetera. The included DLL is an extremely simplified version of the DLL that handled all that, which I found useful for adapting quickly EAs/Indis running in Empty4. (actually the next step would be adding a function named OrderSrnd or something like that -with the same parameters as OrderSend- so adapting an EA would be as simple as a string substitution)

But it's true that it may not be a common use -and somebody that wants raw sockets may prefer to actually develop their own DLL (or use winsock directly from MQL). That's why I wasn't sure that anyone would find it useful -but well, just in case...

I remember checking ZeroMQ long ago, and it really seemed like a very heterogeneous and reliable solution. However, I ended up developing a simple DLL to send those messages because it seemed a more lightweight solution and I didn't have to spend time getting to know the ØMQ API and such.

I was made aware by PM that the code that was changed in 31 and 31L, to make Waves clickable had broken the flashing Waves on shift=0. This has now been fixed. So, Wave signals on the current candle will now flash again (and are still clickable). Technically, this is not a functional enhancement, but a bug repair, that's why I left the version numbers the same.

Post 1 contains the modified version 31 and 31L.

Hi Rene,

Thanks a lot for this wonderful tool.

I just have a suggestion to ONLY display cells having Blue waves/Trend arrows in current bar/candle (Most of us only follow this) along with most recent signal values of other selected timeframes and selected filters.

I know, flash function does this but it flashes RAD and Range arrows too and also it won't display any recent signal values of other selected timeframes.

I'm sure most of us love this feature as it helps to select the pairs for trade for that day.

I request experienced traders to advice, if closed candle signal [1] is better than the current candle [0].

Also request to provide optimum values for ATR related parameters for H4 timeframe.

bharath4x, I use the current candle with pending buy/sell orders. If you wait for close of candle the move might be far by the time you get in. Remember what Bob says about waiting for a candle close...

We are potentially opening up a can of worms here. Imagine what happens if I create the additional parameter eg. ShowOnlyBlueWavesAndTrendArrowsOnCurrentCandle and add the code to this effect. The next post will be: "renexxxx can you please also add a parameter for the following:
  • ShowOnlyBlueWavesAndTrendArrowsOnAnyCandle
  • ShowOnlyBlueWavesAndRadArrowsOnCurrentCandle
  • ShowOnlyRangeWavesOnCandle5

Listen, I am not too lazy to add the code, but I am just protecting myself to a myriad of similar requests. There literally is an endless list of combinations of things that you could and would want to include or exclude. I can only go so far.
