BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front):
I need a willing second set of eyes to have a look at my settings TDesk and Desk settings to see why Desky is not entering trades.

Story:
I have been trying to tackle Tdesk, Desky and all the components. I have succeeded in making my custom indicators work with the UBDs thanks to Tomele's great instruction. I have read all manuals multiple times and thoroughly. And fine tooth combed my settings until the screen is a blur. I have also searched through the forum for hours looking for answers as this is quite an obsession of mine. But at this point I don't know what else to do.

I can usually get TDesk and Desky to work together for most of the week. Sunday night(United States), I start Empty4, I'll wake up to action in the market however, no trades have taken place meanwhile signals are showing on Tdesk. To troubleshoot, I have:
1. Cleared the Global Variables
2. Copied working setups to other terminals to test different timeframes; they will not talk after the move
3. Removed Veto and Exit symbols
4. Restarted the terminal
5. Restarted the computer
6. Re-read manuals and settings
7. Reinstalled the terminals
8. Deleted all of my terminals and started from scratch

Essentially, I want Desky to trade Solosignals Only at 100, exit at-100, then reenter the next minute In the other direction. I have Desky checking in every minute in order to make that happen. At this point I can't see words clearly on the computer screen from staring at it so long haha. I know it has to be something in my settings, but I can't see it since I am sure my brain is blind to the obvious setting that someone will hopefully point out to me. Hopefully Steve doesn't crucify me for this. Although maybe it's deserving because I laugh my ass off when he goes off. Either way, thanks in advance to all who will take a gander and attempt to assist. I hope this post will help as myself and any other loss souls.

Other note:
My UBDs as well as others I have used from the site won't ignoreOpencandle for the life of me unless I have the indicator set to "price_close". I personally like to use other price options but only want the information updated on Tdesk at the close of the candle because Desky will close the trade immediately regardless of check in time. At lease that's my experience. Is that normal for all or am I just assed up all over?

Attached are Tdesk set, Desky set, Indis for my set up, and an Indi and UBD (indi and UBD are not mine) that won't ignore open candle. Again, thanks to all and I hope Steve doesn't crucify me.

Still here pulling the hairs from my shaved head. I re-downloaded and re-installed fresh Experts. And after clearing the variables again Desky and Tdesk talked but as you can see in the photo it did not complete the transaction as there should have been more trades because the max signal time for desky being set to 5 minutes at the time of this particular snippet. Could it be a server/Empty4 issue rather than the a tdesk/desky issue?

Hi RMSSC, point is I am no programmer either. I did send Steve my solution for the faulty trailing stop code a few days ago and he implemented his version in Ghostrider and so forth. And I don´t know all the parts of code he changed. So my post above was more or less a pointer for Steve where to look, although he propably doesn´t need it. Cheers, Maximilian

I must confess that I would very much like to see how a dynamic trailing stop in the desky would also behave, but Steve has more than to do with enduring inexperienced in programming Empty4 like me. Just so you know folks, I have looked into this and added some code and a couple of new features. I will describe them when I post an updated version. I noticed some didgy coding in the candlestick trailing stop feature that has probably only not come to light because nobody uses it. I will correct this before uploading the update. These thingies probably affect the SPB core library and Trendy Monster Moving Day - without effect as we tend to use them as grid/basket traders but I will check anyway.

I wanted to test ShirtProtection function as a stop loss for my basket. Now my loss point has been reached. I have an alert that “all open orders have been closed” BUT nothing is really closed and the alert just keeps reappearing every second. Can someone please point me where is my mistake here?

Hi Steve, little offtopic, i have same problem, but with Holy Graily Bob's multi-pair Candle Power_1l. But it doesn't burn me that much, I simply close the position with a script when the message is displayed. V.

Thank you very much, Steve! I did use this feature in the past. It closed trades, but after closure it always stopped opening new trades until I reload Desky. (RemoveMyselfAfterShirtProtectionClosure = false).

Hello Everyone, I've been off the forum for a while. I've been running Slopey Peaky Desk (out of the box) for a few months on demo accounts. I do a bit of manual intervention (closing some trades, turning off auto trading, setting TP for some trades) It's been the most successful I've ever been (but that wouldn't be hard) However, it does go into rather large drawdown sometimes That's not the current issue. I've had it running on two demo accounts. One since 01-May-2020 the other since 01-Nov-2020 This month both accounts have been deleted by the provider because of too many messages It turns out that the first demo account set and deleted pending trades 0 08:07:20.091 '2182758': pending order sell stop 0.20 CADJPY at 79.834 sl: 0.000 tp: 0.000 0 08:07:20.244 '2182758': order was opened : #162453807 sell stop 0.20 CADJPY at 79.834 sl: 0.000 tp: 0.000 0 08:07:20.248 '2182758': delete pending order #162453807 sell stop 0.20 CADJPY at 79.834 sl: 0.000 tp: 0.000 0 08:07:20.384 '2182758': pending order #162453807 was deleted it did this 42,000 times from 08:07 to 22:41 on 11-Nov-2020 (always at the same price 79.834) This resulted in 168,000 messages over that period Price Range over that time 82.3-82.5 So why did DESKY place and delete 42000 sell stop orders in a 14 hour period? the second demo account did similar 0 00:00:00.111 '2202974': pending order buy stop 0.10 NZDJPY at 72.460 sl: 0.000 tp: 0.000 0 00:00:00.256 '2202974': order was opened : #162961155 buy stop 0.10 NZDJPY at 72.460 sl: 0.000 tp: 0.000 0 00:00:00.961 '2202974': delete pending order #162961155 buy stop 0.10 NZDJPY at 72.460 sl: 0.000 tp: 0.000 0 00:00:01.127 '2202974': pending order #162961155 was deleted it did this 70,000 times from 00:00 to 20:00 on 20-Nov-2020 (always at this same price 72.460 all day) This resulted in 280,000 messages over that period Price Range over that time was 71.6-72.1 So why did DESKY place and delete 70000 buy stop orders in a 20 hour period? Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have any idea why the EA might have done this? Where do I start looking to try to debug it and prevent it happening again Any help or ideas would be very much appreciated Regards Pat
