I had the exact same problem, I even contacted FXDD as to why, they just told me to right click and hit hide, yea right I already tried that. So what my problem was I either had that chart open, can't hide it if that chart is open, or the css indie is using that symbol, so what I did is closed out all my charts, so I had nothing open and then tried to hide my chosen currencies and that did the trick, give that a try, Art, hopefully it will work for you.

Sometimes you will need to restart Empty4 with no charts open (or at least nothing referencing the pair e.g. a chart with that pair or the CSS info page) as if Empty4 has referenced the pair for any reason sometimes only a restart will allow you to hide them.

My lightweight computer at work froze up Empty4 today. I will download a fresh copy of Empty4 and reload the system. Right now I am blind. Both times I closed Empty4 with the CSS page being the open chart Empty4 froze up on me. guess it is too much to open with that page. So make sure you close Empty4 NOT having CSS being the opening chart.
