I look strictly for the same pattern just at a point prior to were the pair currently is at. Meaning the same patterns for the last few periods like about 100 -200 periods back so that current pa matches the previous chart prior to the end of the previous chart. Does not matter what pair or time the previous chart is on. Just the patterns much match. If so look at what the previous pair did past were your current chart ends and boom that is what the pair will do in the future most of the time (time matters only in amount of pips price will move higher time frame more movement). It is that simple. Finding the previous chart is the time consuming thing. I don't worry about levels or pushes or any of that just match the pattern. That is why I want to cut and paste the current chart over previous charts. That is me, others do it different. I just think it complicates things with all the levels and pushes and then everyone after the third push is looking for a retrace but a lot of time three more levels of continuation is going to happen. So I just try to keep it simple. Look at Daggerfalls post he shows this concept very well.
