It's way higher than Bob's, floating around 20-25%. The relative small lots save me from a MC. Attached the closed trades from today. . |

Thanks Gertje. Would you be willing to share a screen dump of your 'trades' window that shows current positions and what you have pending. I'd like to see it as a 'state of play' to give me a feel for your progress for the day. I have a number of positions open and am currently sitting at -550 pips DD. So to my thinking I have to make these pips back before I see a profit and I've never had a 500 pip week before - hectic. Before I even try emulate your approach can you tell me how much screen time you offer each day. I can only devote 30 min or so a few times a day. If you're spending 8/9 hours per day then I need to adjust my expectations of myself down to 20 pips a day profit!! |

I'll post some pics later, you'll be scared. I have a fulltime desk job and can log in from my work to my VPS. I check 3-4 times a day for appr. 5 minutes, just to check the open positions. At the start of my day [appr. 8h30] I scan all charts for setups, and do the same during lunch. This takes no more than 15 minutes. After I went home and had dinner with the family, I crash in the couch with a coffee and do the same, checking and adjusting positions. Just before my bedtime [appr. 23h00] I check for a final time. All in all I estimate my screen time for the trading at 1-1,5 hours a day. A part of this time is also used to try the new setups Bob provide us with. |

Hm - I'm a bit confused with my setup. When I load InfoPage the Daily CSS looks completely different to when I load the Daily CSS on it's own. I know scale has been discussed before but it is the slopes that have me confused. The 4H seem to be consistent. Any thoughts? Allan |

Would someone mind chipping in here and telling me if I'm interpreting the CSS correctly. CAD & CHF appear to be about to cross on H4 but on D CSS they are pretty much running parallel. Since D is parallel there isn't opportunity here, look for something else? On the D CSS USD is top (and climbing) and AUD NZD & JPY are low (running flat). So this will mean we have opportunity to look for longs on USDJPY; and shorts on NZDUSD and AUDUSD? Aside from this, diverging lines on the D CSS also indicate potential positions - USDCAD (long); GBPUSD (short), USDCHF. So trades I've set up based on this: USDJPY - long NZDUSD - short AUDUSD - short Comments welcome - please tell me if I've missed the boat here. |

Great, thats helpful. You must hold trades open for ages, at least some of them? I've noticed from your stats that you some how are able to limit you ave for losers to be less than the ave for winners. I seem to manage getting a reasonable success ratio for wins to losses but its my losers that are so much bigger than my winners that I need about 5 or 6 winners to haul back the damage from a single loser. How do you manage this? |

Some are running a long time, the oldest open order right now is from 17/4. The best ones are those that close within a day [or two], that's what the system is build for. Managing the losers is something I need to work on, some DD is caused by those that I'm reluctant to close. Most of the times they return but they keep me occupied where I could be looking at new setups. I run everything without SL, am thinking about setting up a Trademanager that keeps every SL at the 240MA. Should I loose sight of a rogue pair, the TM will kill it. Last months data [since 1st of may]: Trades Total: 372 Trades Won: 354 Trades Lost: 16 Trades Even: 2 Max Profit: 214 pips Max Loss: -205 pips Avg Profit: 49 pips Avg Loss: -91 pips Total pips: 15961.6 So the averige losers is even bigger [nearly twice as big] than the averige winner, but the 95/5 ratio brings it home. Imagine playing this with $1,- a pip on say a $20K account........... . |

Make sure you are using the one from page 1 post 1. That looks like the test version from 100 pages back. |
