Same here. Big retraces coming up and maybe change of trend before any new opportunities present themselves next week.
Well, that was interesting. Even better, 10.4/10.5 (with added Jemook special seasoning) told us something was brewing so best to take our profits and sit back and watch the fireworks. Quite a show. :D

Where do I stand ?

I need some advice from Australian friends. When I woke up this morning, Australia was just opened and my Synergy live account has closed a short trade of NZDUSD with huge profit. The trade was taken based on 10.4 rules. Quite obvious the Liquidity Provider has made a mistake and Synergy is a straight through provider, so my short position was closed at a very low price.

In the past, I have 2 or 3 bad experiences that my positions were closed at a much worst price due to a spike. I never got compensation from the LP but Synergy did give me small credit as a goodwill gesture.

Just wonder how should I deal with it when Synergy raises the issue or make a correction to the closing price.

Haha give it a while and see what they say, but its quite bad that such spikes happen on the system

Take all your money out asap. Alternatively wait, watch your broker stuff you around because a spike in the feed worked in your favour instead of against you, get annoyed, ponder what would have happened if the spike was against you, realise they're all thieves, then close your account.

not from australia but as a fellow trader...competing to be in sync with the market is difficult enough.

i would have no end of vulgarity expletive rage thrown at the broker
and immediate no discussion withdrawal.
money is money.
dont eff with my money.

clearly they are a freaking bucketshop.
and if your account gets bigger expect more such fkking tricks.

try hooking up with Jemook and Global Prime in australia.
they serve me/us well.
their feed is really good n liquidity is good too.

if we don't even have a protective attitude about the basic safety of our money....
what kind of attitude does that filter down into our trading discipline/decisions/logic/execution? i shudder to think.

I'm battling a shoulder injury, so home from work today...

I've pretty much been sitting back most of this week...Monday was really good (I think around 370 pips), then haven't really placed too many trades since then.

So this morning I'm just poking around in the Asian session and picked up a couple of nice little trades. Not completely 10.5 but played the retrace and resumption back into the the trend with a cross of DP for AUDUSD and a nice 59 pip profit. Jumped in again with a 2nd trade and looking to TP at DMS1.

This is on my live Global Prime account
