Hi Bruster,

I changed the ComplexSingleSideOffset to 'false' for all three demo's since the weekend, and last night I set the minimumpipprofit to '15' for the 2 experimental versions.

Also, I replaced the plain vanilla on my live account to the new experimental with M15 MA, like in #1.

Are you referring the "minimumpipprofit" to DistanceBetweenTrades? I can't find such field in the code you posted earlier.

Hi Gertje,

First of all enjoy your vacation. And on the high reward & and risk I think you're right, but as you said earlier.

A higher lotsize with reduced risk could also lead to high rewards! Or even keeping low lotsizes on multiple pairs will reduce risk even more and still give you a nice risk to reward. :yahoo:

Although my main focus will be on Dottybot (trading live), I have been involved in RnR via demo . I did setup weeks ago and despite huge DD RnR still shows good figures and a steady climb.

So also I will setup a new fresh demo before I go on leave on Sunday and see what happened when I return in three weeks. :smile:
But lowering drawdown will be my main concern as this opens up to raise lotsizes and differentiate between pairs.

The entry is in the offsetting section, called "OffsetPipProfitStandard". I have set this to '15'.

Last weeks results from the test with the MA to give directional bias, DD was less than the previous week so nothing to mention about that other than that the DD of the EXP versions was overall less than the DD of the original version;

#0 plain vanilla, 913 trades, $460 profit
#1 M15 MA, 322 trades, $247 profit
#2 M5 MA, 408 trades, $281 profit

My live account running plain vanilla untill last wednesday or so and #1 since made $330 last week, and $1361 for the month of July till now.

Sure, open DD at the moment is;
#0 $200,86 32 buy/ 4 sell open
#1 $108,67 10/ 8
#2 $105,49 17/ 9
Be aware that the spread is 35 pips right now....

I don't really look at the DD at any moment, just want to know the max DD that appeared on the 3 demo's.
The current DD is peanuts compared to the $2,200+ that #0 went into the first week. That is the DD you want to be prepared for when deciding on lotsizing vs accountsize.

As it seems now, the #1 and #2 have 1/5th of the DD of the #0.
