My favorite trade is taking the WP or DP trades no matter what the indies are saying. 6 or more years ago, dont remember, I read an article by a professional successful trader. He used two indies and that was it. The 200 MA and DP and that is all he traded. I didnt understand or listen but as you can see by 10.4 it is very similar with some add ons. He took trades above the 200 MA that crossed back above the DP and sells below the 200. They did this on the 1H chart. That was their bread and butter trade. That is why you often see price explode when it crosses that line. Big time traders, that is what they do. So good or bad that is one of my favorite trades. Above the 240 buy across the DP and WP; below the 240 sell across the DP and WP. I get a lot of winning trades that way. Of course nothing is 100% but I like those trades. 240 line is close in case you hit a SL so there is good risk to reward ratio.

Thanks Bob, I got the idea now by checking D1 now and then. I didn't expect a big retracement, but bounce off of WS1. Back on track!

Thanks very much for the reply Bob and good to know that I took the same decision at the time but unfortunately was the wrong one financially. A WP trade would have triggered to drop near the 240 line to go up just above the WP to then plummet below the 240 thus triggering the SL.

HOWEVER, I then tracked down the trade on the INFO page and would not have taken the trade as the INFO page strongly suggested that the base currency was heading south which it did. So whilst this was a paper exercise I learnt a great lesson at no financial cost and that is to do what you stated in the 10,4 CSS info PDF and that is to plan your trades based upon what the INFO page is telling you. Without doubt the jewel in the crown with this system is the INFO page and I intend to study it at great length to make sure that I understand it fully before committing myself to the live markets. Thanks once again.

Bob, also I will like to remind you with all respect that SRF is still in place and works like charm. Would be a good idea for some traders to read that booklet!

I believe it is Support Resistance Failure....its when price fails to reach the next S/R and turns around. There are examples in the 10.x documentation......

This reminds me of 2 things:

1 - I have a display problem with CSS 1.0.7D and would like to know if I am the only one. When I open Empty4 all charts have that CSS window completely blank. In order to see the curves and the coloured regions I have either to switch TF or reapply the template. It's not a "show stopper", but changing TF takes a bit of time. On the weekends there is also no display and changing TF or reapplying the template doesn't do anything. I also tried the "fake ticks" script to see if it helped, but didn't. Does anyone else have this problem?

2 - the second thing is because of this Scaling Script. I am using version 1.4, I guess that's the last version. It's a great script concept and allows to do many things and enter in many ways. Or it SHOULD allow to do that if it was not crippled with some troublesome bugs. And one of the things I wonder is how doesn't anyone else discovered them as well... or they just disregarded them and use the script in the ways that it still works!

In first place it's not scaling the lot entries unless you are using "RiskPercent". It's not even scaling the lots you input, it's just making entries with the minimum allowed lots of your broker. This bug is easily fixed (I did it on my version), but as is, it is not scaling Lots, linear or logarithmically, as it should (and is one of it's best concepts!).

In second place, I can't for my sanity be able to make a bunch of pending sell stops with different SL_TP. It just makes the first one and then ignores the rest. It works flawlessly for pending Buy Stops, but not for Sell Stops. I already spent hours peeking at the code, but this is a bug I can't find, it all seems correct to me!

Maybe because I am a bit tired... but probably because I'm stupid. If someone who knows how to code cared to take a look, it would be great.
