I feel for you, same experience here. Miniscule success is overshadowed by big losses.
If the most of us don't make green pips there must be some fundamental flaw in the way we look at things.
What that might be ...?

Those things that coil usually spring surprises - look at higher timeframes.

Guys what kind of money management are you using?
If you are more less sure that you have the next move direction fixed but you didn't manage to hit it in the right spot like in the pins, do you ease in the position in few trades? So the total trade size is staggered a bit? Just to spread the risk and drawdawn? Or just dump it all at one place?

I tend to do best easing in then use profits to go in heavier.

Don't be afraid to take loss also when you're pretty sure you got it wrong. I seem to take a lot of losses but my wins are much bigger. However most of my losses are down to my stupidity and impatience, which I hope will reduce in time.

I also tend to lose more frequently, but it's the matter of time. I hope so. I have a fixed sl, and fixed stacking method that works for me. But it needs a bit of bravery. You must be sure to do it properly. Now HGI helps me with choosing the trades, because earlier was trading too much. And I trade mostly on m15 cause I like to take my money during one session. I do not leave computer while trading, when engaged in a trade. Still with small plus overall.

I dont know how many times I have multiplied my accounts only to lose all the gains again

I am trying now to stick to 15min , 15 pip stop loss for any thing from 50 -100 gain , its my own stubborn head is the problem for me , why isn`t the market going the way it should be ? I always think ! , then - 200 pips later , admit you were wrong Sean and move on , so 15 pip stop for me .
Now with HGI its better (even had an argument with that and lost ) anyways .....

I captured 100 pips on the first move for NZDUSD and got out just at the right time. It was pretty explosive and I was like 100 pips thank you very much sir. I'll take that now.

I had a bunch of stacked orders too.

Aha finally got a correct analysis for a change lol... Combined with a bit of fundamental. I was expecting Gov Poloz to be dovish today following Canada's negative labour data and positioned myself to sell CAD before the event.

First I thought USD/CAD would push lower for better buy price. Early Asian today it made a reversal pattern for short. Was hoping price would reach either trend line.

However, it got stuck in a bear trap so I exit for +16 pips and go Long prior to Poloz's statement.

And as expected Poloz's statement pushed CAD right down.

I expect CAD to keep falling for a while so whenever this pair dips I'll go down to m15 and add more position if I see RRT formed

I feel sadly about this; we are fellows in the same ship (we all trying to make a buck and improve our lives!), and I desire we all do well

One thing I do know... the more we put out our charts and trade ideas (very simply and without any 'crutches'), the more our minds are forced to comprehend & understand. Just like light chases away darkness
