to confirm about the closing in a certain time....i used 6xx version and work excellent even i want to close the trades after 1 minute...it works very strongly.. note: i used...Magic =True...and =0....to close the manual trades. many thanks Steve for your work.... |

Mr/Steve..Mr/.milanese there is a very important utility if you add it to MPTM..version 6xx. to open trades(Sell or Buy)...as (True or False )for each one........on a certain Time by Minutes and Hours many people will like it according to their stratigies....so we can open trades on certain time and close it on a certain time by MPTM. many thanks.... |

it depends...... for example if you expect formation of a top or a bottom on a certain time that you are away from your Empty4....you will need to manage the situation... it is important for who work by time analysis..... anyway many thanks....... |

No it doesn't. I repeat what Tommaso wrote; mptm is a trade management EA. You want a trade-sending EA, then find one elsewhere. mptm is a highly complex piece of kit and making changes to it is fraught with difficulties. There are no circumstances under which I will add code to meet a minority request these days. There are many offshoots of mptm around where trader/coders have produced their own variants and people use them with my blessing, but the trustworthy one is in post 1 here; it has proven its value and robustness for years.  |

i always use MPTM long time ago....and i know it is very powerful on Empty4 and very accurate...that i did not see in any other expert till now...that is why i suggest this property....which may be individual or minority request i understand how difficult to make any changes in it...but you are the origin mind  it is ok i understand your point of view... ...can you lead me to a such powerful expert based on time?.... many thanks for your cooperation... my best regards... |

Hi all, I am experimenting around with the MPTM and it is a great piece of software. However I noticed an issue. I selected "manage this pair only" option and BE = true at 25 pips. all other options are disabled. After the trade was far into profit (40 pips) the SL didn't move. I had another pending order on the same pair. As soon as I closed the pending order, everything seems to have worked as it should and the SL was moved to BE. I tried also to use the "manage by ticket#" for the open trade and observed the same behaviour as soon as I added a pending order. Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong? Regards |

Is there any script/EA available to move the stop loss at at predetermined level exactly when the price reaches another predetermined level of my choice? For example say the long trade was entered at 1.3900 with initial stop at 1.3800 and TP at 1.4000. When the price touched 1.3950 (to be decided by me after placing the order and different for each trade) I want the stop to be moved to 1.3850. Thats it. No further trailing after that....just move to a pre-decided level and stay there. I am not sure if the in built TS function in Empty4 can be used for my specific purpose. Your help will be highly appreciated Cheers |
