The treshold is the difference between the 2 CSS values. If one is 10 and the second is 5, the treshold is 10 -/- 5 = 5

If the difference is smaller than the set treshold, the bars go Gold.

Yes, but Nanningbob started with default 2.5. On latest charts it is 4.0.

I see some of you guys making like a gazillion trades on 10.4 and cudos to you all.

My approach is somewhat different given the size of my trading account. £1186.

I look at the daily INFO and choose 2 or 3 currency pairs that interest me. Then I look at the 4H charts, I choose the one which I deem to give me the best chance to make just 1% of my bank. Today I chose the GBPCAD and traded it very nicely bouncing off the 240 MA. The other pair I considered was the USACAD and would have also proved just as fruitful had that pair been chosen. I do scale in my trades with usually 2 or 3 trades which usually means I hit my targets very early. When that hits I cash in and just monitor and learn the rest of the day. So far 17 for 17 and bank is heading north albeit at a sedate pace but if I can learn to do that with a small bank for a year or two then I will increase bank to 10K and do the same. My Draw downs have been extremely small on these trades, less than 2%.

I find this an extremely easy and relaxed way of trading because my expectations are what I feel to be realistic for the size of account.

Very nice Zennor - 1% per day is more than most could dream of. Great approach.

I think you are doing great. I know some experienced traders here are doing extremely well.
I started Bob's system last March and my account has been growing much better than my previous method/trading system.
This is out of my live account with Oanda opened with USD$2000 as of January 2013. As you can see, the account has grown in a much better rate using Bob's system (thanks Bob!).
As I have my day job, I can only check my account in the afternoon when I get home and in the morning before I left for work. I am still trying to set-up Empty4 with Oanda, I am still trading using their Java? platform, I am still learning here and there...
The DD is much better now.
