I have modified the code to better simulate buy/sell prices instead of just using open/close of bars for calculations.
The bigger issue was likely the determination of the absolute time you meant. In it's wisdom, Empty4 converts datatime values that only contain the time to be the current date. Makes sense, but it uses the local date, not the server date. My fault for forgetting. I suspect your results were being compared to 03:00 yesterday, not today.
I now convert the AbsoluteTime entered into a fully qualified datetime value using the current date of the server.

Re: PIT BULL TRADER Indicators
Bonjour George,
I agree with bunker testimonial.
It's just my point of view, but now I trade the PitBull exclusively with SHF. I mean that I don't even open a basket or any charts. You have been doing a very GOOD job for the PB community and I'm very grateful for that !
Last think, the graph lost the position of the SFH when I open Empty4, so should I desactivate the square in the top left of the display area before I close Empty4 to keep the current SFH position on the graph ?
Thanks for your careful attention,
My best to you, Brijon, Chips, CW......
Happy and fun trading all,
Angel

Yes, the first number is always the net PL of the Buy Pairs and the second is the Sell Pairs.Angel wrote:Bonjour George,

Your issue with it losing it's location is because I was building the unique object strings by using the AbsoluteTime setting. Now I am changing that to be fully qualified, so it will break every day!
I have added another option called "UniqueIdentifier". If you use this (and I'd recommend it), it will use this identifier to build the objects. I would set the first instance of the indicator to "Col 1" the second to "Col 2", etc. Then you can modify any other settings and it still won't reset to the upper left corner like it did previously.
Hopefully this is the last change for a while....
George

Re: PIT BULL TRADER Indicators
George,
Okay for the net P/L : first number is for buyers and the second number is for sellers.
Thanks for the ""UniqueIdentifier" option, it has to make my trading life easier !
I wish you a nice day,
happy and fun trading all,
Angel

Angel....
1. Could you please save your multi timeframe indicator tab as template and post it here - makes it easier for others to learn...
2. Would you please post your method of treading in the pitbull for dummies thread, so we can all learn from you
Cheers

Re: PIT BULL TRADER Indicators
Hello guys,
As requested, this is below a screen shot of the George's indicator with his courtesy.
From the left to the right, there is the 7200/WEEKLY, 1440/DAILY, 240/4hours, 60/1hour, 15/15minutes.
In this example, we can see that :
1) The buyers are in control on ALL time frames
2) The GBPUSD is present at the 3 bottom of all time frames.
GBPUSD could be the pair to buy if the momentum is present !
So I use :
1) The W/D/4 hours time frame for checking the overall trend.
2) The 1 hour as a confirmation of the W/D/4 hours trend BUT on a shorter time frame.
3) The 15 minutes to timing more precisely my entry.
NOW, I work on how to check if the momentum is there or not as yesterday for example.
I bought the EURUSD, AUDUSD, GBPUSD pairs without enougth momentum and by checking the charts, I saw that I bought the higher high. It means a big pulback followed by a big DD even if we were in an overall strong long trend.
It's hard buying strongest resistances/selling strongest supports because it needs a strong momentum to break these strong levels but I work on it to resolve that
This is where I'm, so I can't tell you more at the moment but I wil let you know.......
Feel free to ask if you need more infos, but don't forget that Brijon, Chips are the most experienced traders there !
Happy trading all,
Thanks
Angel

Re: PIT BULL TRADER Indicators
GUYS,
Regarding my reply..................
I decided to open the 10 basket pairs, as I did before. I mean that my yesterday's trades was based exclusively on the George's MTF indicator : I mean that it virtually opens a basket !
So now I have to :
1) Open in REAL the 10 pairs in Empty4
2) Wait one hour AT LEAST before trading
3) Check if the basket and the George's indi are are in line
4) Check that the strongest pairs to trade have moved + 20 pips at least in order to judge of the strength momentum.
That's all folks,
Thanks for your attention,
Angel
*Sorry for my tipo

Re: PIT BULL TRADER Indicators
Salut Mob,
Ravi de savoir que tu bosses sur cette méthode (happy to know that you're studying the PB's method).
Regarding your questions above :
1) Do you use normalizeLots - true or false :
I set the option off because I prefer profits/losses in cash and not in pip, but it's just my point of view !
2) Strongest pair +20 pips = on which time frame?
Excellent question. I check the strongest pairs + 20pips at least on the basket opened in Empty4 a couple of hours ago in order to check the strength momentum.
Why, because I have to check if there is or not enough fuel/power to run the current pairs. I always do that BEFORE entering a trade !!
In bulk this is below my 1.2.3 check list :
1) Do we find the SAME currency pair at the 3 bottom of the the W/D/4 hours/1hour time frame in order to check the overall trend.
2) If yes, apply the rule of a +20 pips a move which defines the strength momentum of the moment
3) If yes, check the 15 minutes to timing more precisely your trade entry by examining that :
A) The strongest current pair is at the 3 bottom
or
B) The strongest current pair is shifting from losses slot to profits slot which is the best entry in term of bargain (or buying cheaper and selling more expensive)
If you see others things to add, fell free to tell us because we are there to share .....Damn my English is bad......
Happy and fun trading all
Thanks
Angel
