nanningbob, good methodology here. I have watched your work evolve over the last year and you have developed a template that a child could trade. That is very very important for a lot of reasons. I mentioned you and hopwood over at forex factory, and it was removed and sent to the recycle bin. I learned a lot from that as well. Literally all I did was to say that you guys are doing good work and building a sound system based on PA, buying dips and selling rallies, etc.. and the post got binned.

I said all that to say that I was lucky to find yours and hopwoods posts and to follow them here. I have never been able to break trading down to it's simplest components. In my mind you are at least as important as Richard Dennis. Trading can indeed be taught.

Kudos.

It means the two lines have crossed. One is going up and the other is going down. Good pair to trade if they keep it up.

Chris wrote:So correct me if I am wrong.
1 - currently the NZD appears to be heading north and the JPY appears to be heading south. So would this be you highest probability trade to watch for? (buying NZDJPY)
2 - When you say breaking into the top or bottom, do you mean passing through the center line or something else?
3 - Or would passing through the center line mean ranging?

Hope that makes any sense.
Thanks
Currencies on the top show the most strength and currencies on the bottom show the greatest weakness. This indi helps you see which currencies are most likely to be trending.

AUD/CAD is one of the least volatile currency pairs out there. So it will rarely have a big range.

Steve took all the good programmers with him so I had to come here. LOL I mainly left because they let a small group of bashers run free throughout threads and will not police them. I got tired of it all and came here. Steve runs a good tight ship and we get to explore trading with out major interruptions. I may get too much credit for what I have done because some of these guys are geniuses when it comes to getting an idea into an indi. I mean we were just playing around during a slow week of trading colorizing our screens with multiple colors and this crazy idea of bars using this colorizing program ................................. well the rest is history with the dummy lights. Even I stop myself with those green/olive/goldenrod/red bars from making a stupid mistake.

Hi Bob! First of all: great job, very appreciated!

One question: why the 240 and 60 MA lines are visible on other timeframes than H4? I do understand the 240 line visibility on H1, representing the weekly trend (60MA @ H4 = 240MA @ H1), but what about the other lines/timeframes?

I only use the 4H and 1H so the 240 on the 1H is the 60 on the 4H. You could trade weekly trends on the 1H if you wished.
