I found a nice indicator (@ FF by Hanover) that displays the last candles and thus can help us visualize the entry parameters of this strategy .

well its sort of that chicken and egg the fundamentals always express themselves technically first sort of argument isnt it. either case it seems to augur well, lets monitor.... my account was also in drawdown last month and has now blitzkrieged into the green

not as much as yours though..wow ...are you using OOTB settings and how many pairs?

Just an update from me with this EA. I have just let it run through the DD and it looks like once it takes off it can accumulate some serious pips (mashing it). I didn't pay enough attention to lot sizing when I set this up so that's out of whack but 3700 pips floating pips never sounds too bad :shock:

I took some of the JPY moves off to bank some, as expect a reasonable possibility of a retrace. I am trailing price and taking partial profits manually but really just trying to give some breathing room but not give everything back in case of reversal. In reality I think this is an EA that might need more trader manual intervention than most to scale out or manage SL as required (this is not a bad thing imo).

my sentiments exactly.... my demo is doing well also, have a EJ long up by ~450 pips but its just shy of the TP and price is starting to reverse... the sl has been moved to BE but in the absense of any stacking / profit locking/trailing it could potentially give all of it back so i will be adjusting the stop manually. fine for me as its trading on such a high timeframe

I recently installed identical copies of Pipmasher on to Cowboy Go Markets & Global demo accounts - updating the EA as necessary (v1J) - to see what, if any, difference there was in performance.

The Cowboy Go Markets results were pretty good

As I was staring at the screen wondering why there was such a vast difference; I noticed a contradictory difference between the Global onscreen display

and the internal coding.

Cross-checking the Cowboy Go Markets demo I found the internal coding (as above) & on-screen display tallied.

I then installed new AXIS & Bully Pepperstone demos and installed the same Pipmasher.mp4 onto them -- with the same on-screen results as the Cowboy Go Markets demo.

I am completely lost. Why is the Global demo the odd man out??

Has anyone had/got the same display and, more importantly, is the Global platform's difference between the coding and the display likely to have any effect on the overall trading performance?
