I went up to the 4 hour but came back down to the 60 minute and having a lot of success with the new HGI indicator. I like the hour because it is still intraday and I just am more comfortable intraday. The signals seem very nice. I am using CSS 4 hour mostly for confirmation of over all trend movements. The range signals work very well and I have enjoyed trading those signals. The RAD signals I go with if over all CSS looks pretty good. That way I can get into a trend that has been running for a while. Very happy with the indicator. Sort of like having Bob coaching you as you trade.
I have put HGI on a full spectrum Gann template and the combination looks phenomenal. I take profits quickly and just move along to the next situation. Always seems to be one. This is one of the more enjoyable experiences trading I have had and the indicator seem just like dynamite in effectiveness. I am still using the 2:1 indicator but on the 60 minute have it set to 240 and 1440. I am mostly using it as such.
When both are in agreement the trend is strong. When they are not in aggreement the trend is a little weaker. I am not using it as a counter trend indicator on the 60 minute. I am using the HGI signals for that. The 2:1 than becomes a patience meter. I know if the trend is not real strong to just be patient and trust the HGI. If I loose patience than I take the profit and run.
