Hi and thx for the answer. I think I get it. What I wonder about is that on my charts the six senth indicator draws the blue line always at the high/low which looks different to your charts. I have attached a screen shot to show what I mean. Furthermore by the rules if I'm not wrong a signal is given when the price crosses the yellow line. However you take trades near the blue line. Additionally you close your trades really early without the help of the six senth indicator or after a 3-5 wave count. So I wonder in which way the six senth indicator helps you. Greetings[/-1-rep] Please set your chart in such a way that you can see at least 5 to 6 weeks of data with your period seperators and your chart will look just like Gigikitajaya's chart..... |

Hi gigikitajaya In the code for the SQ 6ths the following line appears - //draw dashed lines as "future continuation" of Sixth Lines How are the prices in the charts you have posted appearing into what is supposedly a future time even beyond the anchor point ? Charles |

Hi gigikitajaya I think you misunderstand my question. The charts you are posting seem to be showing the price when it has gone PAST the yellow vertical anchor line that tells you the time the current candle started forming. In other words they are going into the dashed area of the 6ths grid. This area is in the Future. For instance in your last chart for gold, the anchor shows a date of 2016.05.26 at 21:00 but the last price visible is on 2016.05.27 (today) 09:00 - How is the anchor in the past and the prices are today is what I am asking ? That happens when you change TF without shifting the chart all the way to the right border |

Hi Charles, I'm sorry if I don't understand your question. Actually I don't know what is the use of yellow vertical anchor line and my analysis is based on CJ's method, HGI signal and the Sixths indi. I only look at horizontal sixths indicator lines to look for M and W pattern, Railroad Track and pins near the top or bottom of the blue line. just quick update for Risklesspips, fibotrend has solved the problem by shifting the chart to left. thank you.. |

The anchor is supposed to be on the current bar, when you change TF make sure you shift right so that the yellow line is on the current bar. Cheers |

"That happens when you change TF without shifting the chart all the way to the right border That's a bit of creative usage of the indicator |
