I agree here! With regards to Jem's first suggestion: for 'ultimate flexibility' it may be most desirable if we could try out every possible combination (these would be 8 combinations for 3 timeframes). I'd be most interested to see how the EA would do if it would close out trades when M15 and H1 change colours. Waiting for the 3rd to close might be a tad too late. In any case it'd be cool to see which combination comes out best.

I need help here gentlemen, please feel free to berate me if I have missed something...

I have the latest version of the EA attached to a XAUUSD H1 chart, I have only selected pairs that are currently active e.g. derivatives of AUD, NZD, JPY.
The EA is set to use H1, H4 and D1 CSS OOTB settings.

The EA opens the trades

and immediately closes them

and states in the experts log that Open BUY/Sell Not Allowed: POST TRADE SECURITY TIMER

As there are no timer settings in the parameters , I am at a loss to track down what I am doing wrong.

Hi guys,

Here is a new version.

Now Hibernation is turned on (stop trading) when % profit closure or % loss closure is reached.

Concerning your issue retireme, I never had such an issue. The only reason that I can see is that when you launched the EA you have also activated the % loss closure. The default value was set as + 2% and so when trades were opened, as the floating % was below + 2 %, all trades were closed.

To avoid those issues, I have set the % loss closure default value at - 5%

I have to go now, I will try to code the individual trade closure options later today.

Thanks Geko, that was indeed the problem and I was too dumb and missed the negative sign... in my defence, I am wearing new glasses :geek:

Hi Guys,

As per my setfiles posted earlier this week. Still running strict 50 pip stoploss for each individual trade. Encouraging signs and indeed green, green, green for the week :smile:

A point of note: Do not click the "percentage loss closure is off" button because all trades for the dashboard will be closed if you say have 1% profit and your edit box is set at 2%. Comes in very handy if you are at say 6% in profit and you want to close out 2% and leave 4% open trades on the table.

Anyway long since I have seen an Ea perform this well, early days however.

Hi Bazze,

Yes I fire the daily dash off at london open and will leave some of the trades open after 2 hours or so with the "percentage loss closure is off" button to carry into New york open, if all good at Ny close I close the whole basket. I do let the dash fire off trades at New york open with a new basket and the balance of the london session. Yesterday was bad however because the whole basket went into a loss at Ny open so I left it open for the London session today which came back...the only surety was my 50 pip s/loss. I must say however that my weekly dash has been keeping my overall balance in check..
