Pete, Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Yes, I did miss that ..

Minor update in post 1. Use CommentLabel_color setting to change the color.

Thank you for your reply Dwain!!. I've checked the first post but the indy is the same version
1.0 ? or do you mean that i should change CommentLabel_color setting to change the colour?

-> i already did but then then like i said the colours from the time frames change in black but
the spread stays white and because my background/chart is white i cannot see them.

Well never mind my trade manager shows them but i just noticed it ;)

Don't forget to keep an eye on the total strength .. I like to see more than 100 for a long and less than -100 for a short. The 200 level is almost like having money in the bank .. :D

Ok looks great Dwain! testing here. just had an entry on EURJPY long when it was 15 pips up moved
sl to entry when m1 and m5 became lower then 2.0 shortly after that sl/entry was hit
and trade closed and after that trade went up again. Seems I got out too early.

So like you say must test and make exact rules when to close or open a trade and when to set it to entry.

Maybe when M1, M5, and M15 are below 2 combined with the value going below 150 ?
Let me know what your ideas/experience is.

Lower strength indicates the shorter timeframe. Use it for your entry, after that watch the middle and higher timeframe strength for the direction. Your total strength was over +200 when price hit your stop .. EURJPY had no choice but to continue to go long .. :D

Look at W1 on your chart. Do you see the big "W" .. the accumulation and the first level of the upward swing? It still has 2 more levels of upward motion according to naked trading. 9x9 is saying this pair will be going long for sometime to come. Why? On 9x9 look at MN column 0 and compare it to column 1, 2, 3. Do you see how it's increasing? and the level broke 2.0 this month? The W1 row doesn't know which way it's going, but it's above 2.0 strength. D1 went up, down, and is now moving up again. H4 is actually moving down, but it's still above 2.0. It may even go back up. H1 is moving down, but look how strong it is. Total strength is well over 200 @ 330. If you aren't long .. well you know the rest of the story.

Ok Dwain thank you for your explanation!
I like this way of trading; like you say focus on the big picture for exits but get
in at the 1m/ 5m/ 15m. This will give less stress then trading only on a 15m / 30m timeframe.
And can give much bigger rewards as well in pipsize :clap: :party:

I assume you put your SL below the latest lower low on say the 30m or 1h with a buy
and above latest higher high when you're in a sell/short right?

what do you think from the AUDUSD long. I took this after the break of yesterdays high.
normally I would have taken it only after a break and close above yesterdays high but
in this case confirmation I used was the 9x9
Or would you advise to first let it close on the 30m or 1h above yesterdays high?

MN is moving up, but is under 2.0 .. W1 is down, D1 is down, H4 is up but below 2.0, H1 is down ... hmmm .. total strength is above 200. If it doesn't break the resistance it's fighting right now, I would suspect it will retrace.

I don't use s/l unless there is news or the session is about to close for the pair. :o

I like to be out of the trades before those times, as I like to sleep at night without worrying. I like trading to be fun .. not stressful! However, I'm working on an EA that looks very promising .. it uses Ichimoku, DeMarker, MA, and 9x9 in multi-timeframes. I'll release the code here after I have tested it some more.
