Hi, Thanks a lot for developing these two wonderful indicators. I have a question, the indicator is MTF HGI Bars, here is two charts of EURUSD I took just now, I set the lowest timeframe as H4, and I change timeframe from H4 to H1, and I noticed something odd, the MN column shows different result: Thanks! Hi. If you are on the H4 timeframe, the default of 5000 bars to calculate covers around 40 monthly bars. If you are on the H1 timeframes, 5000 bars cover only around 10 monthly bars. If your last monthly signal was for example 12 bars away, the monthly signal vanishes on H1. Go even lower with the timeframe, and other signals will vanish too. Solution: Increase the bars to calculate. BTW, we dont like external links here. I have deleted them. You can update your post and upload pictures directly. |

HI You did a fantastic job. Thank you You can remove 90% ghost signals after applying HURST filtering. For example http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =96&t=3973 you can enable HURST filtering. I use HGI successfully, but I use only HURST filtered signals to open the position. Regards Wojtek |

Hi Thomas, I had a go at something similar to this new toy but my version was an absolute resource hog. I reasoned that for the indicator to be truly historic and current at the same time, it would have to run on all desired timeframes/symbols simultaneously. It works, but it's brutish. Whoops....... didnt check the Lib expiration date. I feel a bit foolish but for any one who is interested the journal tab will say indicator expired, not lib expired. Phil |

Hi Tomele, I am finding this indicator a great help for my style of trading, great job. The colours are a little dark for me so I have changed them, all except "black for yellow range wavys." which I have tried to change assuming they are 8,9,10,11 in the colours section of the input box, but no change occurs. Is it possible to change from the black and if so how? Regards Oldfella |
