Hi Nev

Interesting set file, I also trade the 5 and 15mins.
Adding more time frames will add to your number of trades but at the same time it will increase your risk and DD.

I would open another demo and try the same set file but with recovery enabled in each TF
Then compare the 2 accounts.

Blue line is equity, hover your mouse pointer over either line to show their details at any given point.

Yes if I hover over the blue line it says equity at that point so the EA goes down and recovers.

Yes agree what settings would you suggest? Do I turn off gap filling or will it work together?

Interesting this morning my live account has finished for the day 1.01% locked in but the other 2 are still going. i think there are 2 issues which effect this
  • 1. Insufficient margin percent to allow trading setting which means 2 EA's trade differently depending on the available balance. Not sure what this should be but its set at 1500 atm
    2. As the balance increases so the 1% target gets higher which can be countered with dollop of cash setting.

My tests indicate that the 2 functions will work together.
Are most of your trades from the M5?
Considering the risk of having several same pair trades placed
very close to each other, maybe in future tests we can ditch 1 time frame.

Great I will start a test with recovery probably next week. I couldnt tell you if the trades are mainly M5 or M15 where would I find this information?
All 3 of my setups 1 live and 2 test still are 100% as of today :clap:

Just worked it out with help from Tomele :youknow:

Each time frame has a unique magic number so M5 Magic No 100

I have a few suggested challenges :-

1. Add the code as here https://fxtestify.com/providers to enable the EA to join Rene and Thomas's awesome DB
So with some pointers from Tomele :youknow: I dived into trying to code this addition and also made the EA setup as V3 OOTB. I have therefore renamed it AwesomeSS (we may add the other SS timeframes so droped the 2SS) and set it to version 1a. I have also put the V3 setfile with it in post 1.

Note: As it uses a different magic number for each time frame, we cannot put several versions of this EA on 1 Empty4 instance when using it to connect to the DB.

Thanks to the contributors to the code to date and hope you dont mind the alterations :hi:

Edit: Tomele has to make a change his end before uploading to the DB. You can use the EA for testing but wait for further updates on using the DB. Version 1b is in post 1 with a minor change requested by Tomele
