Hi itsaquestion - I really love using your dashboard.....but if you could add the NT TMA-CSS-SP "Diff" this would be perfect (especially if you could also add the 1H time frame) |

Hello It's a Question, this SIMPLE DASHBOARD is something else.... I must have done like 12 trades eye balling it today and with the exception of 1 or 2 trades that I really was not sure about all the other Trades were money makers, just how you put this GEM together I am still wondering but it is GOOD, love it to bits, it's kept me in the Coins throughout the Day.... Well Done, now you gatz to be my friend. |

Hope everyone had a good weekend. ... just downloaded the dashboard this afternoon and played with it some after reading the thread here.... I saw that there was a problem with the different brokers suffixs like the m on an Cowboy IBFX mini account so I went in the code and took a look. .... I did this in the init() function to append the suffix to the symbol names ... so that this file should work on any suffix.... ....Also I wanted to play with being able to put this in different corners of the chart so I put that option in too.. and then I couldn't quit playing with it and wanted to be able to put more than one of them on a single chart... and set one to euro info and one to usd info and such... and ended up with this big information overload super dashboard.... now i'm going to have to figure out how to use it... Now normally you can't put two of these on the same chart because they would use the same object names.. so I had to put this in so that each one would name their labels slightly different... I just went in and hard coded 4 different files to use 4 different corners.. then I named them accordingly as NB102_Dashboard0,1,2,3 etc.... that way when I want to put one on the chart I know what corner it's going to go to.. and when I make changes to them in navigator.. I know which one I'm changing.... I don't know if i'm going to be able to make any decisions based on it.. but it looks impressive to those that walk by and makes them think you know what you are doing.....PipPip.....JimDandy |

Jim Thanks for the tweak to the dashboard. I will give it a test this week to see if / how it can be incorporated into my NB trading. Maybe it should now be renamed 'not do simple dashboard'! I was wondering is it possible to add Power for lower time frames? Like H1 or M30 Jason |

I'm still trying to figure out how to use the info it's giving me now. ... I'm with NeoTrader on this one.... can someone give us some pointers on how they use this? ....I mean instead of as a tool to convince your wife that you are not wasting your time sitting here for hours staring at it.........PipPip....JimDandy |

.......I'm with you... I don't know what the strategy is ... but that didn't stop me from playing with it... If it can't give us some clear answers at least it can look like it's valuable.... the ole baffle them with B.S. approach.... ......I looked into this Pow math and it reminds me alot of ole Bill William's Market Facillitation Index or MFI indicator.... it seems to me though from the math the the larger the number the HARDER the market is pushing to make it move a pip.... it's like the grunt factor... I've been playing around in it and kinda got outta hand ... so here it is .... simple it ain't. Settings for all the timeframes You can sort by slope OR Power. Select which timeframe's data to sort by... Choose where to sort them by.... absolute... i.e. -.09 will be above +.08 otherwise +.08 is above -.09 like normal I was having trouble reading it with it constantly sorting evertime price changed.. So I made it to where it will use the close of the last minute candle for Pow instead of the constantly changing close of the current candle.... number still change.... but it doesn't re-sort until another minute closes... I also had to put the color options in it so that each trader can set to his liking. I moved some stuff around to conserve cpu a little.... but I haven't really checked into it.. When it's loaded it is set to sort by the daily slope. Take it from there and play with it... I make no promises on the code.. I just wanted to learn how to play with sorting functions and work with arrays which I am not used to doing... just teaching myself as I go .. so don't let it blow up in your computer!! everyone have a good weekend!
