after installing it on the map it wont reopen again for checking the settings.

I only can achieve this if I go one time frame up and then again back to the 1H TF.
then I can read and change or save the settings.

Maybe some one knows to solve this minor problem, or just ignore it if its just me and me old laptop.

hans..

just put shelley 1.u on again for the Jpy's 125 point's + atm :)

Hans, could you please share you set file for Shelley. I know this is not the right place to ask so if you could post it on Shelley's thread that would be gran and I will remove my post here. Just having issues with Shelley and can't figure it out just yet.
Thanks mate!
Sorry but no way I'm sharing any setting's I have a highly developed skill to kill account's specially live account with a nice saldo on it.
regards and courage,

Hans...

Hey Phil, I'm using the same one TMA that is packaged with Bob's 10.2 System. Just switch his template to the H1 to see it. I edited the settings so I can see it on the H4 as well.

Also if you are looking for the code that says "Hey price touched the 5.1 MA, we are good to go" then have a look at the 5.1 MA Sell/buy Any TF SHFM code (also included in the 10.2 System which does this perfectly.

As I predicted ShelleyJem triggered trades when it reached the top of the H1 AFTER it touched the 5.1 MA. This is incorrect. I've attached screenshots which show where the sell was triggered and red down arrows to show where it should have triggered.

The trigger should only happen after

1. The top of H1 / H4 TMA is reached
2. 50% of 5.1 MA's get hit

Then we should reset and wait for a 5.1 MA hit again.

Sorry Jem; don't understand any of this.

Version 1b is in post 1:
  • - fixed a bug in the broker point function highlighted by Gary. Cheers Gary.
    - added mtf TMA True.
    - allwed disabling of any combination of the two TMA and the Moving Average filters. MA also has the timeframe as an input to allow users to experiment. Turn of the MA altogether by setting the timeframe to zero
:D
Read the effing manual, ok?

Hi folks!

I have been lurking. Loving NB 10.2 and the associated EAs and diiscussions. I loaded ShellyJem and am up 90+ pips on demo acct. I do have one question and I am sorry if this has been covered and I missed it. Does it matter what time frame is used on the chart that the SJ EA is running?

Thanks!

Jemook

so for example, if we already have D1 slope > 0.8 for buy or < .08 for sell

a buy trade need to wait first to hit upper H1 TMA or upper H4 TMA
and only after this to cross descending 5.1 MA's

a sell trade need to wait first to hit lower H1 TMA or lower H4 TMA
and only after this to cross ascending 5.1 MA's

Am'I right ?

Phil, incorrect.

a buy trade need to wait first to hit LOWER H1 TMA or LOWER H4 TMA
and only after this to cross descending 5.1 MA's

a sell trade need to wait first to hit UPPER H1 TMA or UPPER H4 TMA
and only after this to cross ascending 5.1 MA's

Please see bold bits. If price is at the opposite H1 OR H4 TMA band it is still counted as being 'retraced' especially so to the H4.

Steve - you are a legend! This is a fantastic toy to play with.. I'm gonna have so much fun with this one. I can't believe you hooked this up so quick. Guys I hope you all understand what a gun Steve is with coding - this EA is THE SHIT!
