Steve - in using this for a while I'd also like to see something similar to the deposit code - when you remove profits from the account. It would be nice to have a setting to be able to stop live trading when the next equity target is met, allowing you to remove profits and then either run the script manually or automatically to reset the EA. Thanks

This is coming. I have already added the code and will be presenting it soon. There is an input that tells Goldy to remove herself when the next equity target is reached. I want to add code that allows her to trade normally once our Friday/Saturday stop trading hour is reached, then shut up shop for the weekend once the equity target is reached.

hi all. downloaded goldy from attachments on page 1 a couple of days ago. i have three losing baskets in history now along with some $2 wins. will attach. is this normal that they closed at a loss? have i got the latest version?

Hey Steve and folks,
I had two closures of all trades directly after rollover. All positons got closed deeply in the red. Could that be because of the stop hunt detection thingy, looking for high spreads? And did it happen to other testers?

This has not happened to me. This could simply be that Afterprime sends no XAUUSD quotes until an hour after rollover - I have no idea if this is so.

I do not see any reason for this to happen but will look through the code to see if any of the code blocks are in the wrong place.

Steve - I was wondering about the "starter take profit pips" setting of 140. I didn't see it mentioned in the guide. What was the reasoning behind 140. Any idea what a lower value of say 40 would do? Thanks

Last week was slow for me. The next equity target on the demo that started all this is $13,421. Current equity is $12,353 so substantial DD.

The experimental demo's nest equity target is $2,097. Equity at close of play on Friday was $1,875, so again substantial DD relative to the account size. The no individual trade's TP worked brilliantly early in the week when the market did a Rocket Rise and there were three equity TP's within less than an hour. That was enjoyable.

The good news is that offsetting appears to be doing its job of keeping buy and sell groups within hailing distance of each other and of preventing the margin level percent falling to frighteningly low levels.

This is a leftover from the manual method that inspired Goldy. The idea was that the 'starter' trade would have a TP of 20 pips greater than the highest buy stop or lowest sell stop. It was an experimental figure so change it if you want.

I am not sure that the idea of the 'starter' trade is relevant any more. It would be easy enough to remove it but let us leave it as is for now and see how thingies develop.
