Three of my trades have closed, adding (a very rough because I cannot be bothered to add them up accurately) 240 pips, and locking in 2% of balance profit. The remaining two are are about 60 pips in profit. This is a particularly encouraging start given that I traded the pre-Slope version live for a while. Allied with live-trading 10.2, and successful demos on BJS and the 10.2 EA (this one has problems), these are exciting times. |

Good results Steve, for me FS has taken another trade today gbpaud and currently up 46 pips and Yes indeed these are exciting times...I am becoming cautiously optimistic that we will be able to generate some safe & consistent profits with some of the strategies developed recently |

Version 1b is in post 1. There is no change to the code apart from removing the obstruction to live trading. I am not ready for trading this live just yet, but I know how effective Flying Buddha's are from the bot's previous incarnation. Allied with Slope, the strategy is unstoppable. Anyone here wanting to trade FB live, go ahead. Just make sure your lot sizes reflect the experimental nature of the bot i.e. tiny. |

These are the default 1440 and 240 Attached is my setfile. GBPAUD closed overnight for +48 pips Total 289 pips |

I had my first two loosing closures today, when Slope retreated into the Range area. gbpaud sell taken out today at 12.00, then closed at 12.04. Looking at the candle, I can see why. FS spotted the FB and Slope must only just have been < -0.6. The subsequent rise in the market would have taken Slope above -0.6; it has subsequently fallen again and the trade would now be profitable. We might need a buffer to avoid whipsaw abound the Slope trigger level. Either that, or I could reintroduce inputs such as HtfBuyCloseLevel which tells EA's at which Slope levels to close an open trade. I left them in place when I copied the function, commenting them out in case they came in handy. What do you guys think? |

same thing here, opened gbpaud at 12.00 and closed at 12.00 lost 50c  3 more trades open and in profit eurnzd, euraud, audchf |
