First of all, congratulations for this forum, I’ve learned some new interesting things from here and hope I’ll be profitable in the long run. For now I’m still on demo.

I’ve read so far “HGI for beginners” and “Holy Graily Bob Basics - ask your questions here”. Now I want to begin with “HGI” but there are 203 pages to read and before that, could someone help me and tell me where I can find the EA? I’ve installed/copied the HGI templates.zip, HGI V17.00.ex4, I’ve copied all the indicators, indicators and scripts from HGI basics and templates in the right folder (I hope), I’ve read “HGI DEC 2014 V.14.01.pdf” but I didn’t find any EA.

HGI is only an indicator, if you refer to the HGB EA you find this one there---click---> http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =87&t=4154

G'day Magicians

My very first post on Steve's excellent forum and my thanks to all contributors especially NanningBob, Jose Luis and Steve himself.

I have been trading manually for a couple of years with minor success. I am currently running HGI_v16.07 on a couple of Live accounts and learning every day. Although I have read the HGI System Manual and the Nov 2014 pdf manual and this thread maybe I have missed something and maybe someone can help me?

On my charts with a black background HGI shows pairs of wavy lines above and below the my candlesticks BUT sometimes they are Gold and sometimes Blue wavy lines and I cannot find where the differences are explained?

Hoping someone has the time and patience to direct me to the explanation.

Blue indicates the start of a trend, Gold indicates the market is ranging. :good:

Many thanks ALS! Much appreciated.

I now assume that both Blue and Gold wavy Lines cancel all previous signals and that multiple Gold wavy's indicate the market is ranging and a Blue wavy indicates the start of a new trend.
A very good set up would be Blue wavy followed by a big thick Green or Red arrow?

Correct me if I am wrong please.

Hi , i just need a quick confirmation:

Quick flashing large green arrow with blue wave = Strong Uptrend is that correct?
flashing LArge red arrow with blue wave = Strong downtrend is that correct?
--> see picture attached below

How do i disable multitrade in HGB input? I just want HGB to take 1 maximum trade open order , not multiple level of pending orders.

Also i prefer to manage my own stop loss and TP which settings to disable?
