Thanks I'll try keep that in mind.. last week on demo I hit around $800 profit/200 pips even though 2 days I was messing around with EAs that didn't do anything for my account... This week I jump on over to real and 90% of trades have hit sl and the ones that TP were all less than 5 pips. Think I'm over analyzing things on live.

Yesterday my results were bad :(

Pips: -102.9
Average Win: 10.15 pips /
Average Loss: -11.96 pips /

Longs Won: (1/5) 20%
Shorts Won: (3/11) 27%

Just followed basic 10.3 rules

You have emotions on live that you don't have on demo for one. And yes you probably are over-analyzing. It happens to us all.

My problem is EVERYTHING IN LIFE COMES AT INOPPORTUNE TIME. Like in my pic, I had my trendlines drawn, could have gotten in buy when price went up through it and crossing up through daily open at same time. zoom! But my wife had to have my attention. 7 pips easy. I find the best way to enter is bounces off of Daily 1 SMA.

I can understand Bob having a hard time wanting to use smaller timeframes. I have the opposite problem. Maybe we can meet on H1 in middle :) (I know I should be on H1, but man some of those M15 green candles during a H1 candle give pretty good trades especially on ECN that don't have fat spreads like FXDD. It's harder for me to profit with these crooks. That could be a whole thread by itself talking about spread differences between crooks.

The thing I REALLY need to implement (and it's my own fault for not having done so), is better MM like what has been given by Bob and Steve. I don't think I've ever seen anyone go broke banking profit, even small profits if often. It's not cutting losers that has been my death by a thousand cuts.

Now it just doesn't make sense for me to continue in Forex any longer. Hours for pennies. A lot different than the day I made $800 with a (I think) $3,200 live account.

I hear you, see if this helps, the double yellow lines on chart are the first 6 hours of each trading week.

Presently, the EUR-USD is within these lines = no direction ???

Also, look back the last few weeks, seems it like to make a mid-week fake move and then pick the other direction, red arrows.

Back even more weeks, you can see, once it is free from that opening range, it will make a good move as shown by yellow arrows

Do this with the pair you are trading, you will see "where" price is right now, hope that helps

Hi Disbellj,

Can u pls chk the all pair indicator again. I noticed that gbpnzd entry was totally wrong today.

I just noticed this and was wondering if something was wrong with my Cowboy IBFX platform or it's d indicator.

The indicator get a sell with entry at 1.9381. Gbpnzd shld be a buy not a sell and I don't know where it was getting that entry from.

I have now cheked even more pairs and so many were wrong as well. Pls chk it again.

Hi folks,
This is my first post although I have been reading through the posts for the last month since this site was recomended to me.

I have seen no need to comment since:
1. I am the student here and am learning the methods (pretty strait forward easy to understand).
2. I really did not have anything to contribute that would benifit the People here.

I want to thank you Bob for all your contributions to this site and to Steve for your hard work.

I little something that I have always liked to use and does not clutter the chart is a Pip Spread indicator, I find it useful when entering trades and seeing how volitility is effecting the pair I am trading.
I hope someone can find a use for this. ( NOTE: this is not a creation of mine I could not program my way out of a wet paper sack) :lol:

Hi everyone, hope this difficult market is not costing you too much, can someone just clarifiy if there is an ea that will open a position after price goes above and then down through the red daily open (Red below Black) (at least one candle closes and the high is above red line and then clossed candle low is belwo red line)

Welcome to the forum wycfitz; and I agree with everything you have said, including my own poor coding skills. When I asked for help to modified the Indy you have upload, George helped me with an alternative indy here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 121#p24121.

It has the advantage of showing Spread_Current/Spread_MIN/Spread_MAX/Spread__Average since the indy was loaded. It's worth a look.

My appoligies I did not know you had posted a spread indi. for download.
I thought it might help for people to get in and out of trades when the spread is narrow.
