What bothers me about CSS is... CSS on the individual charts matches the chart. So on a D1 chart it should match the D1 CSS on the Info page, right? They're close, but they're not the same. They have different levels and they cross at different times. Why are they different?

Staedtler, did you say that you went LONG on the NZDJPY? I take it your decision was not based upon the 10.4 because the price has been below the 240 MA for over a week now. Ignoring the Daily and 4H CSS this pair looked ripe for a sell off the WP especially given the the fact that there had recently just been a 3 bar push up AKA Captain Jacks thread.

Sorry to hear that you lost 80 pips on this one. Hopefully you'll get it all back tomorrow with interest.

I just re-read it, and I didn't see anything about this. I understand all the issues of D1 vs H4, whether the chart is D1 or H4, etc. But D1 CSS on the individual charts should (I think) match D1 on the Info page.

In this chart, I put the single-chart CSS (which is v1.0.7 D in the template I downloaded from post 1) onto the Info page so you can see it side-by-side with the Info CSS (which is v1.0.8). The chart is D1, and both CSS's are D1.

But look at the black USD on the bottom compared to red USD on top. They don't peak at the same points, don't make important crossings at the same points. CHF in the top CSS drops steadily from 4/21 to 5/10, but CHF in the bottom CSS bottoms on 4/25 and heads up for a week.

I don't know which one to believe. Shouldn't they be the same?
