I have the CSS and dashboard indis in the same chart. I like to have this as a floating chart (sits on it's own screen all day long) but I find I cannot do anything with this chart (change indi parameters, change TF etc) unless I redock the chart. That's a pain, does anyone know a way around this? This is slowing me down in doing simple things like changing the TF so I can check the CSS in both D1 and H4. I don't just check the levels, I also like to have a look at the slopes in both TFs. The floating chart script I'm using is called Unlock Chart, just grabbed it from the internet somewhere. I think there are other scripts around, maybe the one I'm using is a bit limited.

An alternative is to run 2 copies of CSS in the same chart (in separate indicator windows) I don't have any processor issues running 2 copies but when I do this both charts are always set to the same TF. I don't know a way around that. Having 2 copies in the same chart also makes it a little harder to pick up the slopes properly too.

I could also run a CSS copy in separate charts but like I said I like to have the CSS/dashboard running on it's own screen and prefer a single chart.

You can have multiple MT4s running. I use one just for Buy Sell EAs and another for close trade EAs. You could set one up just for CSS charts.

Thanks Bob, being new to Empty4 I hadn't thought of that one. Is probably a bit of overkill for what I want to do though. I think it also requires a separate Empty4 install, rather then just running the program twice. I'll have a think about it but I was hoping there might be a floating chart script that allowed you to work on the chart while it's in floating mode.

Setting “ignore pairs = false” results in black window and indicator is removed (Empty4 journal tab), leaving this setting true and removing all ignorestring empty does work and shows following picture:

Setting “ignore pairs = false” results in black window and indicator is removed, but also leaving this setting true and removing all ignorestring empty doesn’t work and result in black window (only if I do not remove all ignorestring pairs it works), there seems to be a pair limit restriction because I can't get the indi work with all pairs, ICM offer more than 80 pairs which seems to overload the indi?

sorry to bother you, but I'm a complete mess when it comes to dissecting codes.
My dashboard is having problems not displaying the arrows properly, prolly due to the locale of the company machine.
As you can see below, its just colored hands. Is there a way for me to workaround this? i.e. change the wingdings char, etc.

sorry to bother you, but I'm a complete mess when it comes to dissecting codes.
My dashboard is having problems not displaying the arrows properly, prolly due to the locale of the company machine.
As you can see below, its just colored hands. Is there a way for me to workaround this? i.e. change the wingdings char, etc.

A bit clueless about this, since the "fix" for this has supposedly been applied.
Perhaps someone else can help look into the reason behind this.

check to see if you have the wingdings font?
I run ubuntu/linux... but it should probably exist in ...windows/fonts

check to see if you have the wingdings font?

I do have wingdings, the arrow thing is under wingdings3.
Im not sure how to update it in the code, i mean, i can update the code to show wingdings3, but im not so sure as how to set it to that character.
U mind pointing out the relevant line for me? I'm try to update it myself.

I kinda found a pseudofix, not so elegant, though.
Instead of Wingdings code 246 & 248, I used the fingers 71 & 72.
Not the best solution, but hey, anything's better than nothing.
If anyone finds a workaround to use the arrows, do drop me a or reply, coz the arrows do look cleaner.
