As you were problem solved, I was trying to load on Ger30 and Aus200,if no-one else has noticed Sixths SQ Mod will not load on Indices,god only knows why but it took me 24 hours to work it out.Hope I saved someone else some grief. macush |

Hello I have been following Bob's thread for the past couple years and am back again after couple month. Now I am a bit lost now putting previous learning and newly input and updated indicators. Reading through HGI pdf basic and 2 thread, I understood HGI is hybrid of all the past 10xxx strategies. And I am aware mq4 info is not disclosed to protect pirate intended attempts. However, I am hesitant to pull the entry trigger just following HGI alerts, and I believe HGI intention is to teach how to fish and not giving out fish... Here is my question... 1) Bob mentions Wavy and Entry signs are based on TMA slope which eliminates users need to read CSS. I wanted to understand and also visually monitor HGI alerts are given. Which version of previous CSS should I use to cross check? (and 10xxx rule strategy if any, 240 buy/sell does not use css indi as a strategy....) 2) If signs are based on css, which tma slope should I monitor to understand reason for the sign? (240 or 60 or both etc?) 3) Is threshold for the sign fully confidential or can be reviewed by reading through previous 10.xx? 4) In previous 10.xx strategies (edsel). stochastic were used to enter the trade. is stochastic concepts embedded in HGI? Appreciate if anyone can direct me to right direction. fxbell |

Hi All Firstly a huge THANK YOU to the creators of HGI,The forum host/s and all who helped contribute to create this magical work of forex genius,Truly awsome ! I`ve been reading for days to get the hang of it and hope someone can point me in the right direction with a few newbie questions Where do I find the templates folder? I can find HGI,The indicators and the scripts but not the templates I see at one time they were accidently deleted then reinstated but where to? I know this is another basic question but I`m not 100 % sure As per Bobs instructions 1. Open the MQL folder by using file in upper left corner of Empty4. 2. Open data folder 3. Open MQL4 folder put HGI and other indicators there, then open script folder and put scripts there. 4. Go back to data folder and put templates there 5. Close and reopen Empty4 6. Open a template onto chart, delete old version of HGI and then add newest version of HGI. 7. Change any colors of your chart and save template. 8. Should be ready to go. When I put HGI into the MQL4 folder,do I just dump it into MQL4 or do I need to open the indicator folder and put HGI in that along with the other indicators? Thanks in advance Reeve |

Hi Reeve. Indicators like HGI go into the MQL4\Indicators folder. The template folder belongs one level up as ... Empty4 4\templates. Best, Thomas |

Hello, Even myself think this is very basic question, but please allow me to ask for right place to look up. According to page 33 of HGI DEC 2014 V.14.01, HGI indicator will keep the old signal and post new. and the last HGI inidicator has option KeepHistory=True (as default) I wanted indicator not to show past signal which invalidated at the point candle close. therefor set KeepHistory as FALSE. However, I still see historical signal unless i switch TF or reinitialize the indicator. How can I let indicator only to show the latest sign for clean view? Rgds, fxbell |
