Good Luck with the cent account Gertje, I have been experimenting this week with the 1H + 4H, tried it on a 1:100 account which was a shame as I was up 18% in two days but alas the lack of margin got me called so have set up again with a larger margin to observe what happens. Am also trialling on another account with reduced pairs with the same set file to see if there is any major benefit of reducing pairs.Gertje » Wed Nov 02, 2016 11:43 am wrote:The strategy is very solid in my opinion.
Due to maintenance on tuesday from 9h00-13h00 I closed my VPS last weekend, forgetting that there were still some trades open and running.....![]()
Yesterday I restarted the VPS and noticed the open basket in huge DD. The EA picked up where it was left behind, and started adding trades again.
This morning it recovered from a 9K+ DD and closed the 1% TP-trigger with a 8% profit due to the amount of orders.
I use Zennor's set with the H4/H1 trigger and a 1% basket TP. The EA is running 24/5.
This is a live cent-account, just to see how it works in realtime.
If it succeeds here, it will succeed with GP for sure.

With all the setfiles being loaded and the variations could you provide your setfile?

Magic 4: H1H4D1 (only since midweek)TraderJoeForex » Tue Nov 01, 2016 1:39 pm wrote:I decided to run a sanity check for November based on what I have done so far before making any more changes to entry conditions.
I have put my original M5H1D1 set along with the more recent H1D1 andH4D1 sets on one account so I can compare over the whole month and with the expected USA volatility it will be interesting to see how they cope and which comes out on top. MyFxbook link in my signature for this account.
Magic 1: M5H1D1
Magic 2: H1D1
Magic 3: H4D1
.... can't argue with 11.7% growth this week. The star of the show has been M5H1D1 with the smoothest equity curve and H1H4D1 done well since midweek too .. H1D1 and H4D1 based on CSS cross rather than Diff and Delta have lagged behind so it seems Diff and Delta as a combo may make more sense than CSScross although all in profit.
Here are the individual results and myfxbook overview... bring on next week!

Excuse me, TraderJoeForex
I have a problem with loading your setfile: H1H4D1. There is always a zero divide error.
It is only with H1H4D1, your other setfiles (H1D1 and H4D1) work very well. I tried to "force all history" data and changed number of candeles in history to max. Nothing helps. Do you have any idea. Anyone else get this error.
Thank you in advance
