Yes great isnt it :yahoo: I am now incorporating the Peak HiLo indicator into my own TDesk EA's. Hopefully will have some exciting news soon depending how the testing goes, but looking good so far. :smile:

Hello Steve,

SPB Latest Version automatically sends signals to TDesk with no on/off function. I have been using him with "AutoTradingEnabled" set to false, so that he just sends signals to TDesk but does not trade himself, together with some other indicator inputs and get signals and "Super Signals" correctly displayed on TDesk. Desky, however, will not place any trades; same with "AutoTradingEnabled" set to true. If I close the SPB window the "PK" and "SS" signals disappear from TDesk and Desky will start to trade the signals generated by the indicators on the templates as normal.

I have tried this on two different platforms with the same results.

Is this as it should be or is there an issue here?

Hi Bill

Hopefully I can help

Firstly I believe SPB is not compatible with TDesk and does not send signals to TDesk. It is a standalone EA that generates its own buy/sell signals and is run on one XAUUSD sheet

To run TDesk up in a similar fashion you need to setup all the individual pairs with the SS and Peaky TD indicators which send signals to TDesk. You can then ask Desky to place trades based on the TDesk SuperSignal

Now I do run TDesk only (not Desky) alongside SPB just to monitor what open and pending trades SPB has triggering but they do not talking to each other

Thanks for the quick reply. I think you'll find that Steve has modified "SPB Latest Version" to be TDesk compatible. That is the version that I was testing hence my fairly detailed description of what is happening, it will send signals to any TDesk running along side it.

I think I've sorted it, all EAs must have the same magic number. A quick test of running just SPB through TDesk seems to be opening trades so I assume that it will work alongside the charts holding the other indicators.

Time will tell. :smile:

Edit: Yes, using the same magic numbers seems to have sorted it.

Thanks for this addition Steve, though if I could make a request to be able to switch TDesk signals on or off it would allow people to run SPB and TDesk separately at the same time. Useful for people like me who run lots of tests on one laptop.

I'll leave these posts up so that others can see what I've been up to, unless you want to clean it away Steve.

Done. Post 1 as usual.

DIY will be bitty. The easiest way is to load the latest version into a separate editor, search for, "// TDesk code" and copy the updated blocks over the top of the file you are using on your demos.
