Hi Paul, i can confirm my demos on your Multi and Al3xx's 10.2 are doing the same when ever the markets trend. My demos are all showing on my list if you like going through analytical stuff, also Bobs Bot is doing similar, but not as well, or as many trades. Sometimes, like now the JPY and GBP, if Multi or any 10.2 trader was going the wrong way, the position would have to be closed either manually or by SL for the EA to take another position in the correct direction. Problem is when i use SL or TP's i always get closed out for pennies and i dont get a good volume trade. I now trade with either ridiculous TP and SL settings or none at all using the JS and BE for closing only. I hoped the module to close a losing position when the trend changes would work better, so we would stop out the loser, and let the EA choose the correct direction, but even using this method doesnt work for me. I dont know if its a bug, im no coder as you know. I accept there will be losers, so i dont mind if the EA would close these losing positions when the trend has changed, but no luck as mentioned. regards and hope this info helps. cuz |

Paul, i'm not hearing from the guys, but the demos are definately up and running. I havent changed passwords and when i try the 're-connect' button to force an update, i get an error to check my passwords. I'm suspecting system maintenance but will wait to hear from the tech guys. Heres the pics of the historical data from the 10.2 only and the 10.2A only. Shout if you want any other of the 10.2 EA results like BOB's or Al3xx's for manual analysis. regards cuz |

My 2 cents: I don't think below ought to be a surprise at all. Bob is a self-described 4H trend trader, and the reason he came up with his 10.3 combo was that the 10.2x stuff wasn't working. I read Bob's remark on 10.3 today saying his system doesn't do well with JPYs all the time (don't know if he was referring to 10.3 alone.) So given BoJ's well advertised policy of a weakening JPY (USDJPY between 85 and 90), we should expect more turmoil from MultiBob unless some clever money management can be inserted (e.g., cut losses short.) The margin filters are enabled by default. Your lot size is large, compared to your demo account balance, although depends on account type (standard, mini, micro) and thus prevents additional trades. Look at the EA margin settings. I got around 1% average per month with this EA on a DEMO account. You can find my set file by searching the thread. Reversals killed the previous gains, but then again, nothing beats good human MM. MM is one of the hardest skills to master. |
