i have installed the templates and indicators, but i am having trouble installing HGI on Tdesk, it always makes an error.

You need all the hgi v16.09 indicators and hgi lib file (must go in your library folder)from pg1 here:

USD setfile: Take note - this is a signals drone and not a buffers drone.

Follow the above steps and you cannot go wrong.

Sorry can not help you there. You need to play with the settings and dont expect anyone to spoonfeed you with this.

I had some time to investigate your problem. Look at Thomas's post above. "USD has a built-in HGI (using the HGI library)". Therefore look at your Usd indicator_ name setting. You have it as HGI_v17.00. This is wrong. Your setting is reading from the indicator and not the library. You must type in "HGI" only. I am sure this will solve your problem.

Hi Taipan,
There was a similiar querry from Gitarrain a while ago which solved his issue. My USD HGI setting reads from the HGI lib folder and not the indicator, therefore you should not get any alerts. Check that you have the indicator name typed in as "HGI" only.

I am using Stochs on multiple timeframes on 3 different settings.



I am using slopey Bob 1hr t/frame, slopey buffers set up by Tomele:

My usual 1hr and 4hr timeframe Hgi indicators as in post 1.

Tdesk template:




these settings are probably for more advanced TDesk traders and I have made it as logical and easy to read as possible. Much of my explanations are in post one of this thread. I will respond if there are genuine issues.

Hi Trader,
Sorry for only getting back to you now.
My intention really is to get in when there are trendy periods with high volume, but to get out when we go into rangy periods and if trades are taken in rangy periods, to get out as quick as possible. Anyway no need to do anything manually and just let the Ea do its thing.
I really respect what Taipan brings to the table and have already implemented his tweaks. Looking positive so far today.
