Hi there! This morning I found this on the chart: There is only one indicator on the chart and no EA's. Empty4 was running minimized for the last 24 hours, and when I restored the window, it looked like the above image. The only thing I changed in default parameters was to turn off alerts. Any ideas what could be wrong? |

I know exactly what is wrong... PBKAC! "Problem between keyboard and chair" think about it! Have you read anything at all? Your first post does not auger well... Go back to HGI thread and read, when finished, read again and again before you post another word. Failure to do so will result in Dimwit category and you will not be able to post again. RM |

Hello. I have been following 15M big Arrow when it appeared during Euro and US early session. I have encountered so many whipsaws so I revisited HGI pdf and thread but still unclear. Most of bad trades remains with signal line only after some time. (looks trend arrow appeared in Range area) According to Bob, trend arrow has speed meter build in. Is it correct to say speed meter = TMA slope? (different way of reading TMA compared to wavy line)? fxbell |

The lower the TF the lower the accuracy. Your trying to play the trend, rallies and dips of the hourly chart. That can be all over the place. |

Bob, Thank you for your advice. If 15M is too unreliable, to catch trend for a session move (appx 2-4 hrs), Speed meter (I guess TMA Slope?) of which timeframe will be appropriate to ride session trend? Thank you for your kind knowledge sharing.. fxbell |

Please follow my notes in the HGI CSS thread. I talk about how to use the 1H chart for trading sessions. Doing fairly well with it. |

Hi Guys There was a post I stumbled upon a few days ago which talked about using HGI in conjunction with another, it was talking about how sometimes with HGI you have to wait a while for the large up trends, so you can use another indicator for the down trend" The only thing I can find is the HGI + CSS but there's no mention of the above description I've given. Does anybody know which post (or 2 indicators) I'm talking about. I've searched everywhere but can't find it again. Many thanks Phil |

Hi all, Newbie here... I'm trying to follow Nanningbob's HGI method, at the moment just doing the trend trading signals on the 4H charts (stop orders on the red angle down arrows/green angle up arrows and market entries on the large red/green arrows). I know I should probably be looking for a more precise entry on the M15 or something rather than just market orders but one thing at a time Just want to check I'm following this as intended, and have a few questions:
