That's not it this function should buy ore sell in the same direction. I'm pretty sure it's because distance between sixth is just to small on M1 and if market goes against your trade you will get an opposite signal very fast. 1682 bars on M1 means last 28 hours.

Ok then, don't trade the M1 (I find it too noisy anyway)
or trade 2 versions of the EA on separate charts (with different magic numbers)
and have 1 EA placing only BUY trades and the other EA placing only SELL trades

Yesterday was the last trading day of April, and PoS “fully auto” closed the month with a nice 9.9% profit according to FXBlue.

May already started with a whopping 2,7% with 3 trades closed, and I can’t wait for this month to end. :smile:
DD is non existend for a while now. :mrgreen:

In the mean time I have started trading this live with a small account, i’m a happy camper because PoS is doing exactly what I was hoping; raking in the pips.

Your set is undoubtedly the find of the season. :good:

I have tested your set since the beginning of Jan and results are coming in sterling.

Low DD is what makes it for me.. I have excluded the 4hr timeframe from my tests and running peaky on the daily timeframe only 1682 candle look back.

Thank you Leon, really appreciate your words.

Actually it was Steve and DFC that gave light at the end of my tunnel, I was missing ONE part of the info from CJ’s thread.
Steve mentioned in his Peaky thread how he traded it live, and then the one working cell in my brain fired a faint spark. :smile:
The rest we can read in this thread.
I have a few more idea’s to improve performance, but they all need manual manipulation untill I can prove the positive effect and thus beg Steve for a add-on at this EA.

And maybe we shouldn’t finger with it anymore and enjoy the ride to the moon (and still try to schoot for the stars.... :arrrg: )

Many and varied are those who would need to beg me, and usually fruitlessly, to do something for them.

You are not one of them. You want something adding? Ask away. It will be done.

Any noobs wondering how Gertje comes to command such reverence, read back through his posts. It might take a while.

I shall be posting V 1i over the weekend. This will be compatible with Thomas and Rene's database connector V 1.7 and the DIY is easy.

Before I post 1i, is there a demand for the Slopey family "Inputs applied to individual days" stuff - FridayStopTradingHour etc? Sing out if you close your PoS trades manually at the end of the week and would find this helpful.

Not to be an ass, but is it possible to add the testing stuff to the version i’m currently using; 1e?
I never got the fill the gap/ recovery working on the later versions, and to be honest, didn’t push hard because I was happy with 1e.

The trading concept behind this EA is so simple and easy, and banking the pips.
Below a snapshot of the current status of the account with the “fully auto” PoS.

We must avoid to give both versions the same name in order to make them distinguishable for the database.
