Hi Peter, I think how it works is that as the breakeven is held as a global variable (actually just the jumping stop in pips) and DBM just sets this once breakeven for the current open trades has been reached and then just checks if there is a value in the jumping stop global variable and whether the current number of pips profit is below that figure to ascertain whether a trade should close or not. So in short the breakeven and breakeven profit will be set once and once only - regardless of what trades you add. The jumping stop will depend on the number of trades at the time of setting the jumping stop (assuming you are using the adaptive settings of course). I hope that makes sense. Hopefully Paul or someone with more than my very meagre coding skills will set me right if I am not correct!! Cheers, Dave. |

I´m finding GlobalMarketTrend very useful as a tool to choose the right timeframe for the day. When market is not trending you better go to 1h and aim for 20, 30 pips. Something i have noticed using Mr. Long EA is that there are "good days" and "bad days" for 10.4 Often it can happen this: you have 10 open positions and you have 10 winners or 10 losers. I know, this is a silly observation, but maybe we can conclude the existence of "retracing days" and "continuation days" in a global way. Can this be added to your indi in anyway? Maybe the line of GlobalMarketTrend could be built on two colors (red and green) showing not only the strength of the market trend but also if this strength is related to continuation or retrace. Such an indi should be a great filter. strength + continuation (green) = jump into the trade strength + retrace (red) = stay out weakness + continuation = go for 10.5 20 pips fish weakness + retrace = put 10.4 pendings |

Baluda, First, thank you for all the fantastic indicators you have provided. My question; The old CSS 104 & 102 worked on my renko charts but 107 doesn't, see attached. any idea whats changed, 107 is the best!! ps; it stopped working with CSS 106! Thank you Ray PSS: It looks like builds 500 & its different with Windows 7(not working) then it is with XP(working)???? |

| Post subject: | CSSDiff and repainting |
Paul, I am using your CSSDiff indicator in one of my systems. Since I am ignorant of what the full effect of the difference between ignoreFuture=false (repainting) and ignoreFuture=true (no repainting) is, I wonder if you could perhaps be so kind to help me resolve my dilemma? All I know is that there is a vast difference between the signals the two different options gives. The signals from the repainting option is very accurate when showing the trend changing from a bear/bull to a bull/bear, but most probably only because it is recalculated after we have some new bars and the old bars redrawn. Can one use this in a live trading environment since the signal may change completely after a few new bars are painted? The option with no repainting is too inaccurate and lagging to be of any help in my system. Even the MACD then performs better. Please help me to understand so I can use your indicator with success! |

I think I made a faux pas since it seems it could be Neotrader that is actually responsible for the final version of this indicator. What would be nice to know would be if there is some parameter or variable value in the code that could be changed to reduce the extent of repainting. Sort of a hybrid between the repainting and the non-repainting one in order to give the best of both worlds. I know I may seem like an idiot, but I am trying to find a way to optimise the use of this indicator. I think I have rambled enough! |

Baluda, thank you for all the work you have put into this forum. I use Renko along with the NB 104/105. Could you allow this indicator to use "current time on Chart" as default. I realize all the buffers are used, but could you sacrific the M1 for a "default on chart"? Itried using "auto time frame" but I screwed up the indicator calcs. Thanks again Ray |

| Post subject: | Re: Global Market 1.0.0- autoTimeFrame= false not working |
Baluda, Doesn't look like the autoTimeFrame= false mode in your Global MarketTrend 1.0.0 is working. Still on M1 on the M1 TF, instead of working at M15 as set. Regards, Atahr. |

Hello Mr Baluda I still work with your indicator (currency strenght slope 1.06), for me it is a very powerful tool! (Bravo). But after many hours of use, I feel it could be improves. In the greatest impact with your indicator is to look at the numbers: EUR: -0.2 USD: 0.4 But the problem is that we see a number of things at once. I may be writing a "silly" thing, but I think it will help us even more, to have an arrow (up / down), after the figures (numbers).. Thank you for reading! My idea of arrows may not be the best .. you can be a much better ideas! My concern is what has happened before and now. PS: If you have time, please called me what you think .. thank you very much ! Hello Baluda, I am using your great Indicator on one minute chart ,"TMA Slope MTF" but version v1.0.0 since the newer version does not support M1 timeframe. (I'm not sure whether it is the limitation of MQL4 that the M1 slope is replaced with MA on the latest version.) It works great for my setting but I would like to have a solid zero line on this indicator (instead of all dash lines) to see the above and below zero obviously. I try to put the horizontal line on the indicator but it will be disappeared when changing timeframe or currency pairs. Is it possible to have that optional line style/color on this old version ? or would you please add M1 slope to the latest version with optional line style/color ? , please. Thank you in advance for your kind help. Edit : I had fixed this already. Thank you anyway for the excellent Indicator. |
