Actually, the guys here are being very well-behaved. Not one has asked for Rsi, Stochastic, Adx or any of the other 101 filters that usually start to infect the thread of a successful trading system. I am proud of them.

I agree with you. All the tweaks I have added in response to stuff here whilst you were dreaming of your upcoming pile of riches, are easily disabled. The guys here are inveterate tinkerers, so it is only fair to allow them to tinker inveterately. Who knows what might arise from this?

Yes I understand and I mean no disrespect. The amount of knowledge, talent & enthusiasm surrounding NB 10.2 & Shelley EA is incredible and highly valued!

In the meantime, my demo is set up for Pure Shelley. That probably means you are doomed.

Shelley Plus Gary idea.

I think the latest addition to Shelley - the SlopeConfirmationTimeframe - could be the key to Shelley + Gary. Basically instead of being concerned with yesterday's D1 slope all we do is trigger a trade in the direction of the main slope when the lower TF SlopeConfirmationTimeframe becomes >=0.8 <=-0.8 (keeping the original Shelley qualification criteria obviously).

This could also be triggered when the TMA True band criteria are met too but I haven't used this yet.

For me Shelley Plus Gary doesn't work with basket trading as well as original Shelley as the trades will be less frequent and not in groups to make baskets of but that is probably a different discussion.

Great day today, and still going, but I wonder if there is something up with the jumping stop or the taking of locked-in profit. I was watching a little while ago, and the locked in profit was showing as 5200 and the current profit dipped below this for quite a while, but the basket stayed open. Obvioulsy it has worked to my advantage today, but seemed strange to me. I know there is a later version today, but I haven't gone anywhere near those settings that were causing the problems.
