I personally think that it's too arbitrary as your R:R then gets very skewed for some pairs. What I have been doing is using the ADR - and admittedly with not a huge sample size so far it looks reasonable and stops me putting too tight a stop. MPTM can do this automatically I think but I haven't set it up yet.

EDIT: This probably ties in reasonably with sponn's 80-140 pip range.

So if you want to trade fixed lots you could just take an average ADR and use that to calculate a 1% or whatever lot size for your balance and then actually use ADR for the SL. You would risk slightly more on some trades and slightly less on others but your R:R would be a bit more "even".

My view with this was that, as I have been doing something very similar to Jemook and using the H1 CSS, if a pair moves 1 * ADR against me then the H1 CSS will have changed colour anyway so really it is just a failsafe for me.

I like smaller stops, less risk with potential to make more money if the calculation is on a risk of the account basis, smaller stop, larger lots, all for the same risk.

Ok, the GBP/JPY went SHORT to limit at 149.80 for 397 pips and GBP/CAD went LONG to limit at 1.5933 for 120 pips. So all told that's 727 pips for a 22% account gain. Done for the week. You see? It doesn't matter if your buying and selling the same currency, because you are trading the pair of currencies. And with Bobs system, if it says buy....I buy, and if it says sell....I sell. Has not failed me yet. The only pair I find hard to trade with this system is the EUR/GBP, and that's fine with me.

It's only Tuesday - weekly targets already met and most pairs hit WS/R1. What am I supposed to do now? Talk to the wife?

I only have a small account and this equates to a 946 pip profit (18.9%), pure 10.4 trading. Plus I have currently another 35 pips in profit at the moment..

This system is going to pay me back the thousands lost to shysters and it is all thanks to Bob and those of you who helped him develop this system. Gratitude..

I see you guys are having a good week. Me I am looking at lots of pendings. Oh well. I have to slow down my trading for the rest of the week. Friday is the last day of school and i need to do ................... yeah I will be busy. This weekend I am leaving town for a village and wont be near any internet. I am going to interview 5 men about how they rebuilt their village from scratch after WW2. They are in their 80s and the lone survivors of a village. I may write a book about them if I can get enough info. Anyway up earlier than normal, have a lot of work to do. Maybe get my passports back from the experts office Monday so I can get my visas next week. Maybe maybe.


You know Japan if you ever do do your bond program this month I have about 40 pending trades ready to go. If not I guess I get to listen to everyone else make money.

Yes please. Even a small book would have the rest of us riveted. Give those guys our best; I cannot even begin to imagine what they went through.

Hehe. You know what you are talking about. The rest of us just hang on to your coat tails and hope for the best. Think how you will be crowing when those pendings start to fill.

I must say i have never had a problem before, but you realize how much you depend on this stuff when you don't have it. does anyone run a back up platform?

I would say that I (we) are trading 10.4/10.5 system with the system rules. I don't care if the pair I trade is jpy/chf/aud/nzd.

In last 3 months or so 10.4/10.5 has proven that it is money machine (or your own ATM Machine like well known pirate said about his sytem).

The main advantage of this system is that you have rules to enter and exit the trade. You don't have to decide if the trade is good/bad/etc. System shows you good trade itself.
What TP setting did you use?
