The Captains Chest - Naked Trading & Other Stuff

Add me to the list of traders with a "BE" week lol

Entirely my fault, been catching up on a lot of sleep. I'm trading from Canada which means staying up until 3am for London to open, or waking up at 8am for New York. During January I was staying up until 5am each night to trade the London session. February I decided to stop the sleep deprivation experiment and try waking up at 8am for New York, but so far I've just been oversleeping a little too much. Guess I'm more of a night owl than a morning person lol

I've also taken a break on maps this week, been tracking a few, but I'm not sure the zoom out all the way approach was working well for me. Seems some other people have better luck zooming in a bit more like Zaleske, Piter80, and Jurij. This approach might be better for finding more specific market maker patterns, whereas the zoom out approach seems to just find an overlay that matches the overall general shape of a pair.

Also, speaking of great mappers... where's Daggerfall been?

Well, AJ seems to be deviating from the pattern a bit. I was expecting a false break high of the recent range and a low stop hunt before the rise so I've been stacking CT shorts today. As of speaking it looks like it's gone a lil' too far for a false break and a level might have been completed. I'll hold everything for now since I'm just fooling around on that account, but it goes to show there is still work to do. Maybe I need discipline and stick to the overall direction before trying my hand at counter trades

And here I was, riding the bus home and pondering about what to do with my latest fuckups and where we were in the map, opening an M1 to check latest action and... Today I lost 2 weeks profit. bad day eurusd-be ujsdjpy-closed with small profit 1h before news audjpy-closed on small profit 1h before news audcad-Was on be,closed on lost,cause gap usdnok-open 1h before news,closed on sl-biggest los in this week. now eurusd l gold l EURUSDM15-1.png XAUUSDM15.png Good trades closed or ignore,poor trades open Next week will be better @Dudest-You are my hero nice play.Keep it up @CJ-thank You for your post.I start to doubt.
